Eh. could I get the source video pretty please? I don't think I saw this yet.

Edit: Disregard this post. It's most likely from the 35 minute gameplay. I only watched the last few minutes, because I thought it was the same footage from Gamescom sewn together.

Biały most (White Bridge) or Oxenfurt? If it is a White Bridge, where in this case is Oxenfurt?

Nope, I think it's smaller then that. I suppose No Man's Land (swamps) is the upper part of the Pontar's delta.

Oxenfurt is way more visible from here.

No man's land includes Gross Velen, so it pretty much correct. The only question how far south it will go?

we still dont know if gors velen will appear. thats why we think the box will be smaller. at most i think we will get dorian and oxenfurt. and several villages. speaking of towns an villages if you look at the map the are a number of squared symbols on the maps. i beleive they are boards with monster hunting jobs. it is safe to assume that these boards are on each village and town so we can guess howw many settlements are in NML.

I wonder how long it would take us to make that distance on horse? BTW I asked before but, isn't that a bit close to have two cities?

Not really, since Novigrad is a port city while Oxenfurt is a town of scholars. In Medieval times it wasn't impossible for settlements to be within sight of one another on clear days, especially if they were on opposing sides of a body of water or were specialised in different trades. London used to consist of a whole bunch of small towns and villages that slowly grew together, for example.

So is this the whole map? Cause last time it was still not sure if it will have multiple maps where you can travel at any time.

Based on the quote from thr 35min gameplay with the "14 times" the range he was away from the big tree, I dont think that the distances are right.
This white building is about 2-3 times the distance that Geralt was away from the big tree. That would not fit with the map (http://i.imgur.com/ODom3Gl.jpg) above as Oxenfurt already would be like 6 times that distance.

Are you looking at the right 'big tree'? I assumed it was the giant tree on the hill near the right of the scene it was associated with. The normal sized trees looked like grass around it's base and on the ridges leading to it.

I would think that 14 times as far was a pretty long way (at least 7km, possibly more).

The giant one where he says the "14 times" thing.
And I think he said it would be 20 minutes on the horse with full speed to the city,

When he says that, the 'huge tree' is the one 'under' the mini-map.
Looking at the size of the pines growing on the flank of that hill it is a *really* huge tree.
Difficult to gauge distance but 'at least 500m' seems reasonable.

Looking at the route plotted on the map*, I'd estimate the path length to be 12.5km if the direct distance is around 7km... which fits with 3x-4x that distance in an hour, and a reasonable guess at a horse's speed of 40km/h.

*6:05 mark

There is a separate map for Skellige and I think a rather small area for Kaer Morhen, since CDPR did show us footage of it.

So yes this is most of the map. The black Circle is likely the game area.

kk.
Since we have the map ( although there was a bit more space to scroll in the video ) is there any size comparison to another game. I think the Skyrim comparison before was rather flawed.

Don't judge the game's size based on a map.

Sure the game is focusing on a rather small area of the entire Witcher world, but that means they will make individual locations huge.
