Mass Effect 5

Jade Empire is also a masterpiece, but it was kind of overshadowed by the other titles you mentioned. That says a lot about the supreme quality of BioWare back in the day.
Always wanted to play that one, but haven't yet. I miss OG Bioware. It'll take a miracle for ME5 to be at that level.

That, and their weird sonic game. I loved them both. And I felt like I was the only one enjoying those two games.

Let's hope they've learned a few things. Although I have to admit that I found The Veilguard quite entertaining, even if it lacked depth and corners in some places.
The gameplay (Although different from the other DAs) was fun but the writing was ASS. I also miss the deeper tactical gameplay elements of the previous games.

Yep, it definitely needs a remaster. Sadly, at this point I'm not sure that I'd trust Bioware to do it properly.
I wish somehow all of Bioware's IPs were given to CDPR, specially ME. Judging by The Witcher and Cyberpunk, they would most likely do said IPs justice, unlike current Bioware.

I'd definitely prefer having no new MEs over ME: The Veilguard. Hopefully that never happens and ME4's devs are qualified to at least deliver a decent game, but I'm not holding my breath. Too many disappointments in a row, and Veilguard was the very worst one.

I'd love nothing more than to somehow get a new great ME game in the line of ME1 and 2, but I lost faith in Bioware a long time ago, and Veilguard was the last straw.

I don't see how Bioware could possibly redeem itself from its latest fiascoes, I'd prefer they'd leave ME alone

I'm waiting for the next N7 Day to see if they deliver any new teaser or even a new trailer. Hoping it doesn't disappoint.

Agreed. Seems most likely based on the teaser as well - what with the demolished relay, the lost contact reference, Shepherds armor not being vaporized, and the dead reaper in the background of the video. Those things only make sense with destroy ending.

Awww I think Andromeda gets a bad wrap. A lot of the concepts were great, but the characters and quests were not as good as the first three, and the open world filler content was bland. Not nearly as good as the first three, but not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be.
I still think there was à great game to be had with Andromeda, had it be better managed and polished, I still replay it from time to time. Vectra and Drax are among my favorite characters in the franchise and I really appreciate not having a reaper related story.

I enjoyed Andromeda a lot despite not being at the level of ME1 and 2 (or even 3), the gameplay was awesome and I wish the trilogy had it, also Cora's romance is IMHO among Bioware's best. So the game was not without redeeming qualities. But after Veilguard whatever hopes I may have had for future Bioware games have vanished.

Bioware is cooked. I'll just replay ME1 and 2 and remember better times when they were an amazing company.
That's quite possibly true, especially now that EA has been purchased in a heavily leveraged buyout. I haven't heard anything about plans for the ME franchise since the acquisition. I'm skeptical that these long development window single player games fit into their plans to manage the debt service.

To be fair, I haven't heard anything about plans for ME even before the acquisition. The only thing I remember are a couple of posters and then radio silence, if new owners will announce that they are "moving on in a different direction", I wouldn't be surprised if it would happen not due to political or ideological reasons, but simply because they don't know how to get the game off that development limbo.

Good point. I think it was after the Veilguard mess that the devs announced that they were scrapping what they had done, and gave some vague statement about reevaluating who they are and moving in a new direction. Nothing but silence after that.
