Mastercrafted armour?

I just found a MC chest piece for the wolven armour set in a treasure chest ( not the diagram but the actual chest piece). I'm on my second playthrough and I've never seen or heard of that happening. Is my game glitched or have others found crafted witcher gear in loot before?

It happened to me. In Kaer Morhen, I found the masterctafted wolven armour.

Happened to me on the quest in Kaer Morhen that sends you into the mine. After you dispel the illusion its in the chest. Found it there on two seperate playthroughs.

Witchers Forge, lvl 30 quest.

I sold it, as I'm still too low level to equip it and I almost have all the diagrams anyway.
