here are the MD5s attached, use Freecommander ( I generated the MD5s with it, but you can use any other software ) to check the files by putiing it in the same folder as the files and renaming it as "tw2ee-sums.md5" and click it.

output will be like:

As recently as yesterday (approx. 2100 to 2200 UTC), those were not the files being delivered by the Downloader. The Downloader was delivering, consistently, a set of files in which every file from part 2 onward was not the correct file.

The files on the manual download page (ee_manual) are the correct files.

Administrators responsible for the download need to check, from clients located in the field, that the correct files are being downloaded. Because as of less than 24 hours ago, it was broken.

I've downloaded the files from http://en.thewitcher.com/ee_manual in the last 4 hours, if those are not correct.. F7U12

The files at /ee_manual are correct, at least as far as Part 23.

But the Downloader, if you get it from /enhancededition and run it, delivers a set of different files. Or at least it did so the last time I ran it, which was 19 hours ago.

using the site for the manual downloaded files: http://thewitcher.com/ee_manual/

here are the MD5s attached (see EDITs), use Freecommander ( I generated the MD5s with it, but you can use any other software ) to check the files by puting it in the same folder as the files and renaming it as "tw2ee-sums.md5" and click it.

output will be like:
-> File open error: \TW2EE_RU_Voiceover-4.bin (you did not download it, do you even need it?)
-> Verify errors: \TW2EE_DE_Voiceover.exe (delete this file and redownload it)
OK: \TW2EE_DE_Voiceover-1.bin (ok)

EDIT1:

for now just get them and try to install, if it fails it will roll-back, don't panic, don't uninstall the game, don't delete ANY files yet, just do it like this:
*keep the error dialogue open
*go to the download folder eg. C:\Downloads
*select all files
*select CUT ( CTRL-X ) and try to MOVE them in other folder on the same drive
*IF it says it can't move some files take note of their names and just skip them
*click Abort on the error dialogue so that the roll-back is done
*re-download ONLY the files you skipped earlier and replace them
*retry patch

EDIT2: The official MD5 sums here: http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29690-tw2ee-patch-md5-checksums/ the info above applies so that you can track the files and redownload as little as possible.

Downloading them manually only works up to number 25 for me. 26 - 35 do not pass md5 test, nor does the patcher.exe.

Having trouble attaching a file, so I can't easily show my result.txt.

I've downloaded TW2EE_Patch-29.bin at least 5 times now via Firefox and once via the EE Downloader and it will not pass verification. Can someone provide a mirror for it?

So far every other file I've been able to download fine via Firefox. CDProjekt's server is really bad at serving files.

Parts 0, 1, 8, 25 and 27 from here: http://thewitcher.com/ee_manual/ were replaced earlier today, and part 2 yesterday, so they won't match checksums created earlier than this.

did you replace them in the last 6 hours ?

also please explain why and what does that mean to me if I downloaded the files 8 days ago and successfully patched with them on the 17 ? ( well, excerpt TW2EE_Patch-1.bin that is, that I replaced on the 17 april )

ALSO WHY DOESN'T CDP PROVIDE THESE DAWN MD5 SUMS AS SOON AS THEY CHANGE THE FILES ANYWAY ?

Because messing with your customers is hilariously good fun :/

Edit: I would also greatly appreciate it if CDProjekt went the extra length to provide us with checksums for each file. It's not too late for you to try and save some face from this seemingly disastrous launch of the EE!

For me today worked to manually download all the files and replace them. I used also the md5 checksum that another guy provided here in the forum. Just don't use the auto-downloader.
