I've read that Cyberpunk 2020 has an Empathy (EMP) stat that also affects the character Humanity that is what dictates how many implants one can have before turning into a cyberpsycho, seeing as the primary stats in the game will be Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Reflexes, Tech, and Cool, I wonder where this would fit or if Empathy will become a skill.

I can totally see why they would left cyberpsychosis out though, allowing the player to add as many implants as he/she can but it would be nice if this affected our dialogue options in a similar way it seems to work in the PnP game.

I noticed that myself.
I have to wonder, will the amount and type of augmentations the game permits you to get be such that it's a non-isssue? I.E. no full body replacement available.

I'm worried about this, frankly. I want to be able to get full chrome legs, if I so choose. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I guess Empathy will still be there, but added later.
As a "work in progress", I figure it's easier to first input all the augmentations, skills and shits, and then adding the "con" of them.
EMP is kinda an anti-skill, the more you add, the more you lose, so they'd just need a jauge to empty as you augment yourself and you'd go crazy/game-over (or really limitated then), if you'd cross the cyberpsycho's line.
I can't really see Cyberpunk without Cyberpsychosis, otherwise it's just Deus Ex.

Or maybe they integrated it in the Cool stat.

I'd see the Cool stat (if it's used as in the Pnp) more like a "jauge" for your character stress ability.
Makes your character moans and shakes under pressure-situations (like the interogatorry scene, I guess, the lowest your cool stats are, the less likely you'll stay calm in a situation like this and the options will differ, etc... I've read articles talking about the gameplay preview talking about V mumbling and shaking as she enters a creepy building, may be a part of the cool thing), will probably play during combat (the lower your cool is, the more you'll shake because of stress when aiming, less accuracy, etc...)

In the pnp, the cool stat is used like that, let's say you're covered and underfire, you roll a dice on your cool stat, if it's in, you'll be able to overcome your stress and move, otherwise you'll stay hidden and shit yourself in shock (kinda like the "mental health" in call of cthulhu, but in a less psychic approach).

Agreed, however I'm trying to understand the fact that there was no Empathy stat with the rest. I think it is nigh impossible that they would be in this part of the development of the game without adding one stat. So maybe it's hidden for some reason, or they mixed it with other stats, in that case I think Cool would be the best "substitute" or perhaps having both Intelligence and Cool influence the Empathy skills and Constitution and Cool influence your humanity.

Oh come on CDProjektRed, I don't want to leer at my own character's backside, I want to see their ugly face dammit! If male V doesn't also get the cinematic, camera, arse caress then I'm gonna be miffed.

Yeah same. There better not be any disparity between butt zooms on both genders :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: can't believe i had to type that sentence but oh well.

I'm sure CDPR wouldn't deny us more of this though
