Its actually not an Ending..Bam and Finished.....
If you are happy with it, ok....But understand that many players are not....
There is nothing to fix. Only something to delete.
The whole idea of that post-epilogues free-roaming was unnecessary and pointless from the very beginning.
I really, REALLY hope that CDPR won't waste any resources on this topic. The game has much bigger problems than that.
The basic point is that the "after credits free-roaming" doesn't offer anything that a normal save game before the point of no return doesn't offer as well. So there is no point that this "after credits free roaming" even exists in the first place. It's just unnecessary, not even worth being called a feature. It's basically an automatic loading of a savegame from before the point of no return.
And how do you do that? By running around doing nothing but always fighting the same generic enemies? I don't get it...I agree in part, but for me an open-world game not necessarily end with the main story especially if you gave the possibility to continue the game after like skyrim even if this game is a more story-driven one. If the post-end content is a part of the game (like now) so for me it must reflect the choices you made and for me it add a value for the game because you can continue to play in the world you have created with your choices and continue ti immerse yourself in the universe of the witcher even if the story ended.
My Opinion:But I'm afraid if CDPR is paying attention to this issue

It's not like the game offers unlimited content. The content which is there is clearly made to be done before the final main quest (even the player level hints of the quests suggest that). So there is no content there for this "after credit free roaming" mode. So how do you want to immerse yourself into a world if there is nothing meaningful to do?
Really, there is no reason why this mode exists in the first place. They should just delete it and that's it. No issue left and they can concentrate on improving the important stuff that is there and to create new stuff for the expansions.
My Opinion:
They have to...If they want to keep their Fans....
Selling millions of Copies of a game is one thing....
Keeping the fans for future projects another....
Im a witcher fan since the beginning and i cant believe how bad they let the witcher series end...After so many years and 3 Games....
A little diashow and that's it...It just pisses me off
I will not buy something again from CDPR until they do something here...
Season pass Stuff will change nothing for me, and i have the feeling they will do the same with Cyberpunk....
And if you look here/other Forums, Steam it's a big issue for so many players..
I think many of them will think twice about buying future CDPR Games...
Maybe they will not preorder again or will not buy for full price again....
Hello Steam Sales....
For me it was the last time for pre ordering CDPR Games...And i'm happy i did not the same with the season pass
Many big companies have already had this experience ... Angry or disappointed players holding back on further purchases
Vote with the wallet is the only thing that works....
That's not entirely true. The last story mission is level 30 or 31. There are at least 2 missions (level 33 and 35 monster contracts) which are higher. Furthermore there are 1 or more level 40+ diagrams and the Nilfgaardian dlc armor scales to level 35 (gauntlets 37). So there is clearly content, which is intended to be done after the last story mission, if we take the level requirements as indices. And how do you do that? By running around doing nothing but always fighting the same generic enemies? I don't get it...
