Most places forbid relationships in the work place some on an equal level and others on manager/subordinate level. It is often a forbidden fruit.

If she likes then you should climb the tree, pluck that fruit, and enjoy it.

My shitty and insane advice anyway.

It's not sexy unless someone's gonna be pissed about it, right? Lol.

The more people mangry over it, the better.

You have awesome things to say, I for one have weird shit to say for example, when I was in 3rd grade, there was cross class fights ( It was in public school and elementary teachers were somewhere), we were 3rd c vs 3rd b and when fight was happening I don't remember my role in there, and teachers came in and dispersed us little pricks, after few minutes i was accused for smashing out tooth of one asshole, so he said to pay me for it , but i never remembered to hit that shit, after some months or years, gosh i don't remember he stopped to asking. seven Years after Incident when I was in second school which was unlike first school is located in village with less than 1500 people (first school was made 8 grade school that's why i moved to new school) talking in bus station to arrive and i could be in city and my ex classmate who was in that time at parallel class and said that was that other guys fault to provoke me and smashing out that tooth, I always said I never remember that alleged fight between me and him.

Well i'm working as a a waiter...so i don't exactly work with her...it's not that awkward, it's just weird, i never saw myself attracting anyone...and i'm kinda shy to talk to her, we have some stupid history...

Well, nothing's gonna happen if you don't go and talk to her. So, if you're interested, you'll have to overcome that shyness and just do it, simple as that. Worst case scenario, she was randomly looking at your direction or something and she's not into you - you'll have a laugh about it and move on with your life.

On principle, I'd say you should talk to her about it even if you're not interested, just to clear things up and, if those looks did indeed mean something, gently let her know that nothing's going to happen. But I guess you could just ignore it if you really don't want to have a conversation with her about it.

Although "don't get your meat where you get your bread" is normally sound advice, passing up a genuine attraction just because of sound advice makes for a case of the "coulda, shoulda, woulda's". Asking her when her shift is over and inviting her for coffee or a snack (in a public place where you can talk) is the best way to find out whether you are really interested in each other, or for her to let you down easy.

Waiting tables is not the career most of us aspire to, and having to leave a waiter's job because you had a relationship with a co-worker go bad or cross an employer's policy isn't the end of the world.

So fall is upon us now, well it's supposed to be, Alabama weather you know.

I love gloomy, overcast, rainy, and cool days which is what fall is all about. But for some reason this time each year I feel depressed for what feels like no reason which makes me think about things that do depress me. Then a month goes by and I'm fine.

Anyone else feel like this at this time of the year?

Not me. I love the fall, the cold weather and anticipation of snow. I expect we'll get it early this year. It's the sunshine and optimism that drives me under a rock, scowling at the rest of humanity.

Pouring down since Saturday, plus idiots on the roads driving too fast with headlamps blinding you! Driving skill level over 9000! :)

Ha, don't come to South Carolina  We're used to bad weather, so if it's on the highway, we're not slowing down for Hell. Not even for the second coming of Jesus.

In europe too many asholes on the road in Type-R's or GTi's think they know how to drive just bcoz they have turbo/v-tec engine (stupid kids with no road awareness) Recently I've noticed a lot of people buy KIA's and new shape BMW's.

Heh, I roll around in my humble 2012 Chevy Cruz. Well, I guess I can't say "humble". It's a nice car, just not something I'd go around showing off. Was gonna get a Charger, but the gas prices... I'd sooner give my left nut. And that's my favorite one.

My car's no type R, but I put some smoke on that rubber regardless, even with the low cylinder count. It's how you use it, baby. It's how you use it.

Don't know yet. It has to be family car, planning on having a kid soon. Maybe 5 series BMW or Nissan Qashqai. There are too many cars to choose from /confusing.

Ech, personally, I'd choose the BMW. You can't really go wrong with a BMW. Not a fan of Nissan, especially not crossovers.

May be my bias against Japanese cars.

I like fall as well, and the time when it´s beggining normally doesn´t put me down at all.
What I do hate is winter. Not the cold, mind you, but the fact that I go to work and it´s still night, and most days I return home and it´s night again already. It´s a bit depressing...

However, it´s spring down here now, so it´s all "love is in the air" and hormones flashing stuff, lol!

In California, BMW drivers may be the worst for this. I think too many believe the advertising that claims you can drive a BMW aggressively and then maneuver your way out of trouble. In an industry not known for consciousness of corporate responsibility, BMW is the bottom of the barrel.

Lol it's hard for me to believe anyone could be that stupid, but then, I stopped letting California surprise me for some time. The annoying drivers here are the soccer moms for driving 15 miles below the speed limit constantly. Or the teens in their huge jacked up pickups with mile long suspenders.
