Didn't they say something like "You can enter most all the buildings in Night City . . . not all of them but most . . ." something like that?

So far, I've counted upwards of FIFTY doors that have a generic 'Locked" prompt when interacted by cursor. This contrasts with the doors associated with quests which give a prompt detailing the required level of Body or Technical to force it open.

On Drake Street alone I counted 20+ "Locked" doors and in that whole traverse ZERO doors which were actually just "blank" facade, i.e, a section of building wall that looks like an entrance but with no prompt at all.

Clearly there are a LOT of place holder doors in the game.

I have not finished story and character has only achieved about Level 14 so it is possible that these "Locked" doors simply are not scripted to be forceable/enterable yet because my character has not progressed far enough in story or level. But I seriously doubt that. My hunch is: earlier in development there was an intent to put meaningful content behind ALL of these doors, and they simply couldn't get it done in time.

Consider yourself lucky, you still can open the doors of the uncompleted / empty train station that as been removed since the trailer...

Very depressing to see all the missing content.:

Also, you remember the walls that were supposed to be physics acurate and destructible.... That appears only once in your barebone version ? :

I mean, I feel like we "customers" helped CDPR with a disguised crowdfunding. We may or may not get what we paid for...

Did a search, looks like no one has mentioned the inability to deflect bullets with blades.

And if we're extending the 'promises' to features in the official guide that don't exist, I never got the red variant of the 'Coyote' car I was promised for completing 'Queen of the Highway.'

Finally a thread that shows the real problem of the game. Not the bugs or graphic downgrades or fps drops. But the fact half the content we were promised just isnt there. And all we get is updates for the bugs. Why is nobody talking about the features that are missing. Like atleast give a statement that you know stuff is missing and if it will be added or not

Bugs and optimization is fixable. If only the bugs and the bad optimization were the problem I would've been like "Oh yeah they rushed it for Christmas and they gonna fix it in few months". Alas.

Making a diamond out of a let's say snowflake is not possible.

I always found the Dialogue options to be Weird. Like the game gives you Hella so many Options but a lot of these characters just Brush you off. This happens way to damn Often lol Like Fuck It, why give me all these Options if they don't mean Shit.
V- "Why don't we Overload the Engine so that way we can basically Blow the Circuits to the lights, Flashbanging them, Ambushing them the moment they arrive, giving us the Advantage."
Character- "..Nahhh"
V- "Hey don't kill Him.."
Character- "WELL EXCUSE ME PRINCESS"
The Life Paths are alright but it doesn't really feel like it oftenly matters to V as a Character and Story. He doesn't Respond to situations and characters any Differently nor does these Life Paths lead to any...I don't know...Special Gameplay or something? They all meet at down at the Exact Same Road.
The Choices in this Game is Weird when it comes to Interactions, like it Pretends to let you hold the Controller for the Story. But turns out it's not even connected.

No. Shareholders just decide to sell their stock or not. Especially since the CEOs of CDPR are majority shareholders, other investors have no say in how the company operates.

Shareholders decide to give the company money to continue to operate by buying shares, or not by not buying the share or selling the ones they have.

Ha! That's like saying, consumers don't change how companies make products, sell products and market them.

Very fact that shareholders hold that power, is the reason why corporations are different. And why shareholders can change the fate of any CEO or president.

Jeezus.

The CEOs of CDPR are majority shareholders anyway, so no one but them can change anything about the fate of the company. If they wanted to delay the game until 2025 the shareholders would have no say in it. The CEOs have all the power to sway any vote initiated by the shareholders in any direction they want.

Even if every single shareholder voted to get rid of the CEOs or change management in anyway, the most they would get 49%. The CEOs would come in with 51% and do things the way they always have/how they want to do things.

Oh boy the list is huge :) I like the game, like it very much, but this even more disappointing to understand that all this should have be here from the start...
I have found truly remarkable details like Panam "chit chat " to NPC in camp. Like she tune car seat to herself... an many more but the same time, almost no AI, no believable crowd behavior, no "normal" police behavior and that list goes on and on.

in missions when stuff is scripted there is attention to detail, but that's it

So so sad all these promises not kept, further more I want to add a feature to the list : Let us choose leaving the engine running or not when exiting a vehicle, sometimes I would like leaving my car lights on to dazzle (or seem like it) my enemies...

The entire game should've been your time with Jackie and then had the Arasaka Heist as the final mission. With it playing out basically the same. Silverhand should've been more of a background character. A "goal" or even a mentor for V and Jackie to strive for or emulate. With Johnny being captured by Arasaka right at the end. You go into the Heist to try and free him. Only to find out he was soulkilled and put on the biochip. Then have the rest play out as we saw. Saburu murdered. You blamed for it. Jackie dies and gives you the chip to take care of. Game ends with you waking up in a landfill and Johnny standing over you with his "wake up Samurai, we got a city to burn" line. Sets up DLC with digital Johnny and Alt and basically the storyline of the main game except Johnny is dying and not you. With us rushing to save our idol or betraying him. But we still get our open-world merc RPG.

I completely agree that this should have been what the whole game was about. They never should have given us life paths to begin because no matter what path we choose we're always gonna feel like a street kid. They should have instead sticked to V being a street kid because it would have made the game work. V as a street kid should have had choices like joining which gang, so they could have fleshed out the gangs more. It would have made sense for V accepting any job to make money and live the rich life( strip clubs, mansions, etc...) would have made sense for the all the trailers hyping about "taking over Night City". Now regarding Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, imagine if CDPR kept it a secret that they got Keanu Reeves to play a role in the game. Never revealing what Johnny looked like and only giving hints the whole game, only for him to appear in the ending as a surprise and then saying the " wake up" line. That would have drove players insane and would have been regarded as one of the most unexpected endings ever. The DLC would then be about Johnny Silverhand, then the last DLC picking up where the main story ended then be about Johnny trying to take over V and V trying to make amends to people while he still had time before dying. Now granted they would have not made the same hype and sales they had with marketing Keanu, but it would have made a much more larger impact. Such potential smh.

I don't know if it was highlighted before, but at 01:00 during character customization, there is a background check section just like the original Cyberpunk 2020 pen&paper RPG.

Too bad it has been removed in the final version. :(

My dream DLC1 patch notes: (just few most important parts)
- "AI was added to the game"
- World interactions
- Wanted system
- Complex in-game customization (player + cars)
- Polished physics
- New game+

Personally, Ill take just this 1000x instead of just new side story dlc.

Nice to see someone actually listed the missing features here.
Hopefully they take some notes one way or the other.
