merchant icons dissapear from map

Will this EVER be fixed?

It's so frustrating having to run around Novigrad, looking for that Armorer that you know is somewhere in that part of town but you don't know where he is because his icon isn't showing on the minimap until you find him, making the shown icon at that point completely useless.

Right now my Novigrad mini map is showing 2 merchans when there should be at least 2 swordsmiths, 2 armorers, 2 herbalist, 8-10 general merchants and so on.

PLEASE fix this. Pretty please.

If this really bothers you then use All Quest Objectives on Map mod. The full version saves the location of discovered merchants and adds the missing pins when you open the world map.

Holy fuck thank you. The default map behavior in this game is infuriating.

I'm playing the GOTY version now, and this issue is still present. Icons disappear, once you move far enough from the merchant. I can observe that in White Orchard (with two merchants, one near the inn, and other at the sawmill).

Not a single merchant shows in novigrad no matter yhe time of day and even. When near them, any of them, thry still dont show on the menu map..
