Well, it seemed a bit like the dudebro's interpretation of Middle Earth, especially when you look at the box art. I still get that feeling from that degree but there is more Tolkien here than any game has had to this point, and I applaud the fact that they didn't imitate the Peter Jackson formula, as much as I adore it. It's not perfect at all but far better than previous attempts. And just a while ago you were wanting it to fail etc etc![]()
I'll take that as a positive because I haven't played a game as horrible & boring as AC3 in many years or as poorly written/designed.I suppose the think I dislike the most about it is that the game world seems a bit gamey, like the enviroments are not natural but made more to accomodate the gameplay. Assassin's Creed 3 did nature a lot better but this game does the Assassin's Creed formula a lot better. This isn't a walk in the park.
Wait until it comes down in price then? That's what I was thinking. So I've finished it. I don't really like all the changes to the lore or the overall atmosphere. The story is also pretty bland but as a game it works wonderfully. It's very fun.
I'd give it an 8.
I was wondering because you usually play on the highest difficulty. 17h on the "highest difficulty" level wasn't worth 50€ in my book.Say what exactly? There aren't multiple difficulties and the game is better for it.
They already did. It was called Arkham Asylum. The Witcher could learn a thing or two about combat from this game.
