Middle Mouse button and programmable keys not working

I'm using an MX Ergo trackball and the middle mouse button (button 3) doesn't register in the game, which means I can't dequip mods and things and I had to rebind tagging. Any way to add support?

Same here with my Logitech MX Master. Tried several workarounds like that reddit-mentioned .xml-editing and turning smooth scrolling off, nothing worked so far.

+1 for being a trackball user

My Marble Trackball, the middle mouse button is non-functional until I install the Logitech trackball software... Once installed, in that software you can "turn on" the middle mouse button functionality. (sucks i know as it should work by default).

[Added Note: in the logitech software you have to assign "middle mouse button" to the middle mouse button. Silly I know. haha]

Cool! Re-assigned middle-button in the options ... et voila ... middle-button is doing middle-button-things again.
