Like in the title. Don't include things that everyone knows are broken and things that cdpr already fixing for tw3. Only some things that annoyed you so no game-breaking bugs etc.

Ok here is the thing: crafting
It was pain in the ass to craft things in tw2 especially if you had to buy materials. You had to check your recipe, memorize how much stuff you need to buy and if you wanted to create something more complex it was a nightmare. For example you want to craft A (A is armor), to craft A you need to craft 2b 4c and 7d, to craft b you need 7e 5h and 2i , to craft c you need to craft 10l and... fuck that. My idea is to make whole process automatic. For example You go to the shop, you select recipe you want to craft and merchant automatically sells you amount of stuff you need to craft item and automatically taking into account stuff you already have in you inventory.

Very similar to this was just buying stuff from shops - no way to compare equipment, had to memorise everything. CDPR did say they're aware of the issue though.

You know what else was annoying - your companions closing the door in front of your nose :p

No craft items, merchant should carry those and use them, pointless to include in the game.
Let me use a whetstone on my sword again, temporary buff and maintenance of blade.
Get the alcohol back in, first white gull's on me folks.
Put the books, recipes etcetera automatically in your journal so you don't have to carry them around.
No junk, if it's junk why would we pick it up?
UI designed for mouse and keyboard like the first game if on PC.
If I can carry spare suits of armour, an arsenal of weapons and loads of miscellenia, give me a backpack.
I'd prefer if they went back to the first games inventory however.

The animation from the first game. You'll see smiths using it in the second game.

You should look into the root of the problem, not the symptom. What you're describing is UI problem and it's a total mess in TW2 in general. Crafting is very inconvenient, alchemy is very inconvenient, picking up items is inconvenient, inventory management is abysmal, etc. So, CDPR should start with UX (user experience) in mind and make separate UI for PC and for consoles.

Oh yea, there wasn't a whetstone animation. I thought you meant the item.

Agreed. They did say they're aware of the problem and that they're working on it.

Books should be marked as 'read' once you've gone through them so that you won't end up buying the same thing again(considering the fact that some were quite expensive)

Another thing is alchemy itself where they wanted to add more types of ingredients and instead they screwed up their best alchemy system in any game ever. I'll be happy even if it just return "as is" from TW1 (that includes potion effect lengths, usefulness of potions, visual effects, memorizing recepies, alchemy UI and so on). In TW2 I avoided to use alchemy completely... sadly, even on my alchemical build (I used bare minimum possible) because it was so frustrating experience.

And a bunch of the other stuff you've mentioned as well. As I mentioned in the screenshots topic as well, I hope CDPR make dark areas and nights actually dark, so we as a player get an incentive to use either Cat or sleep at inns during the night. IMO encouraging the player to rest/sleep at night really helps immersion. Besides, having Geralt stay awake for weeks at a time is just cruel : P

Vendors: you could choose to craft or buy/sell but if you were done the game exited the dialogue and you had to address the vendor AGAIN if you wanted to sell/buy after crafting and vice versa .... very annoying

No junk items :D

Hmm... I was thinking about, it may sound stupid though, once you bought a crafting diagram, you could go and pay a blacksmith extra to craft it for you using his own resources without you having to go look for them and perhaps go crazy while doing so. Nah, now that I think of it... it is stupid. Oh well, my bad.

'Look, buddy, I'll pay you as much as you want as long as I don't have to search every container possible for some fucking leather, okay?'

That was the case actually, I think they added it in EE.

I was wondering about that but wasn't exactly sure. All I know that there actually is a mod like that on The Nexus. Anyways, it'd be better if it was added from the start. A minor nuisance is still a nuisance, heh.

Of course.

Something that annoyed me in TW2. I am all for playing segments with other characters. Just don't give me choices unless I'm going to play that character recurrently.

I don't really see the point of allowing us to decide whether Henselt will give the Aedirnian nobles half or nothing. I mean such a choice is revealing of his character and I don't think we should have an input on it.

Now I wouldn't mind choices if like I said, we play that character more than once. But for major NPCs? I don't see the point of giving us choices. But I did love playing as them!

Get rid of junk items or at least let us do something with them other than having them take up space or sell them for like 3 orens each.

That's my only minor issue.

Either way, the game is getting a massive overhaul so a thread like this is actually kind of pointless it's not like TW3 will just be an updated version of TW2.

Good point but merchant may not have all required items (i mean magical items like dragons blod etc.). This is idea: to make a sword you need recipe and items that blacksmith can't provide like parts of monsters or artifacts. Begone with hundreds of stolen animal skins or blocks of silver and steel.

Oh and about that: NO more steeling things from people houses.
Good evening, im witcher and id like to take all your shit you have in your drawer including golden necklaces and rings.

Another thing i would like to fix is adjustable fov and mouse roll that adjust distance of camera.
