Mipmap Bias & shimmering/aliasing
As noted in Nvidia's updated tweak guide http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide#mipmap-bias-config-file-tweak , the 1.04 patch changed how mipmap bias functions in the game. The mipmap bias value is currently dependent on your texture quality setting.
While I love the fact that this can further increase texture resolution, it also introduces shimmering/aliasing on finer detailed textures (particularly on Geralts outfits) depending on your resolution and your texture quality setting.
Unfortunately, unless you happen to be gaming at 4k it's even noted in Nvidia's own article that the shimmering effect is nigh unbearable if your texture quality setting is at ultra. While this value can be changed in the .ini files if they are set to read only, I don't think that is a proper solution for the average gamer.
Please make the Mipmap Bias setting changeable in-game via it's own slider in the graphics settings. Or alternatively change the values currently assigned by the texture quality setting (Nvidia recommends "-0.7" for 1920x1080).
