Missing .ini File--Unable to Resume Game

After a two week layoff, I am unable to resume The Witcher. I get an error message saying that there is no "Witcher.ini" file or the existing file is invalid. There is a witcher.ini in my Program Files\The Witcher\System folder. Also, all my saved games are still there. Does anyone know how I can resume the game? The content of the current Witcher.ini file is below. Is this a valid .ini file?[Alias]HD0=.\OVERRIDE=..\DataSCRIPTS2=.\ScriptsSCRIPTS=.\ScriptsSCRIPTSNSS=..\Data\ScriptsMODULES=..\Data\ModulesAMBIENT=..\Data\MusicMUSIC=..\Data\MusicMOVIES=..\Data\Movies[Game Options]Debug Mode=1[Djinni]Language=FinalEnglish_Short

Hey, recently bought this game and installed it but after installation it comes up with the error that the witcher.ini file is missing or invalid when I try to start the game!!!I am running Windows XP SP21GB RAMAMD Athlon XP 3200+ 2.19 GHzI ran it on a friend's computer and it worked fine, his system is:Windows XP SP21 GB RAMAMD X2 6000+ dual core.Anything I've stuffed up here or is this a known unresolvable issue?Oh, have installed, removed and reinstalled with no luck, and have updated every driver and system component then reinstalled and no luck.

Once again, someone starts off without a video card ? His friend has none, either ? No, that's obviously wrong, since the friend's system actually works with the game. Whether it has anything to do as a direct cause for this particular problem, real video cards, on separate, discreet circuit boards that plug into a real video bus, are a definite requirement of ALL modern 3D games with any pretensions toward nice graphics (WoW isn't that, so doesn't count). If you believed that the PC components in your machine were potentially the source, then why is the listing incomplete ? If neither of you has a VGA card, the friend's machine at least has a functional video chip that can pretend to work. See this next if you need to go shopping: http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=6990.0
