MK.31 HMG in stash ?

It seems you pick up that giant Heavy Machine Gun you cannot put it in your inventory, but you can put it in your car's trunk stash.
and it is small icon compared to your normal guns

is this bug or intended ?

I think it's alowed, though I don't believe you can get more ammo for it (per gun anyway)... So just use it to store it for a special occasion.

Apparently when you store it inside the car stash it also refill the ammo.

Remembered this trick and tried it now, it does not seems to work : / (1.5 patch)
But... if you have one in your stash, it WILL have full ammo on it and will level it to your current level.

So the "feature" no longer works, but you can still use the gun from your inventory. It was a cool and creative thing, wish it remained.
