[Mod Idea] Make Roach as functional as D-Horse

So now that I'm playing MGS V and getting around with the horse, I just realized how much the horse is as a functional companion. It never runs out of stamina. It jumps over almost all kinda of obstacles from a decent height above or below. It spawns itself correctly when whistling. And it does some other neat tricks that I won't spoil. My point is that Roach in Witcher 3 almost throws a tantrum sometimes when you're galloping with it and he sees th a little rock in front of him and he suddenly jerks back and stops which is kind of annoying. He also doesn't really auto jump all the obstacles in front of him.

Now I know there's a mod out there that lets Roach gallop forever without losing stamina and another mod that lets him gallop inside towns and cities but the idea is, would it be possible to create a mod where he would jump over all the obstacles and not throw a tantrum in front of a small rock? And also maybe his spawning can get better so he doesn't get stuck under a tree OR he's in plain view and refuses to come to you just 20 meters ahead of you. Thanks.

Roach reminds me more of a real horse. Still waiting on the news of a patch inclusion where I can feed Roach apples and carrots.

auto jump on both roach and geralt (many times i got stuck with obstacle during combat) would be great and make gameplay a lot smoother

I'd imagine all you'd need to do to make Roach more like D-Horse is give him infinite stamina and give him suicidal tendencies(willingness to jump off cliffs).

Another feature of D-Horse:
If you call D-Horse and start moving it will reach you and run by you side so you can mount it while in movement, I found this an awesome feature of D-Horse.(Very useful in some missions...lol)

Agree with 20 meters and staying there being very annoying.

I take it that anyone who wishes for a D-horse has never owned or known a real horse? Roach behaves exactly like a real horse would. LOL!

i want Aggro!!! from Shadow of the Colossus, now that was a real horse. D-Horse is horrible imo, getting stuck almost everywhere and on kb/m when you turn he does such a horrible janky 45 degree turn... Atleast Roach follows the roads :) when he/she feels like it.

Suicidal is the right word too. I game-overed once from jumping off a cliff that was too high. Weirdly, D-Horse was unaffected, but Big Boss slumped over and fell off.

I just had the same issue with D-Horse about 2 hours ago. I thought D would tank the damage and maybe faint, but nope RIP Venom.
I think D-Horse is actually a really shit horse. He controls like a tank even though he can move and jump over anything unlike Roach.

The horse jump is slow/unresponsive. Could be improved.

I'm not exactly sure a real horse whill dare risk that:
but it's funny as hell, almost hpoing they will not fix that as it can be avoid pretty easily :)

The different between roach and mounts from other games is that roach is a horse and behave like one, other games have mounts designed to carry the player faster, in some games mounts can traverse any terrain no matter how steep. Roach have character that mounts from other games lack. I actualy love the fact that roach don't jump from cliffs that will hurt him and geralt, i like to see her look for food and water seconds after i dismount. It feels like a living animal not a speed buff.
