[mod] Knight Templar Mod (updated)

i tried a knight templar retexture on the knight of the order modelmod includes the play as version and armor& helmet . everything is optionalscreens: (the sign reads Sigillum Militum Xpisti - which means the Seal of the Soldiers of Christ which is the templar knights sign)download from (plz dont forget to download the fix on the end of this post)http://www.mediafire.com/?dxjm2hfzkmtand a 2nd darker armor version (dont blame me for the little seperation on the breastplate (it's like CDPR provided it :( )download (textures only)http://www.mediafire.com/?m3mgt1mwyxyupdate:i meanaged to fix the breastplate (seperation almost invisible now ;) )download the fix and copy over the old file (doesnt work with the dark armor version)http://www.mediafire.com/?39ix1wulnmz-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------and as requested the knight of the rose retextured to templar (the bumpmaps gave me quite a headache :dead:)sample:or in blackdownload it herehttp://www.mediafire.com/?xzw5pq0sf41hope you like it ;)

YOU SIR, are awesome. Can you edit the helmet (cr_order5_g1.dds) so that it's a single gold-colored cross (where the spikes are) and make it a bit brighter-colored? Also, can you retexture guard1_c4 and c5 to the templar look, too? ]:-> :beer: :beer:

thanks a lot to all for the nice words :p i will see what i can do about the cr_order5_g1.dds retexture :beer:i dont know ..i worked a little on the order5_g1 but im not really happy with the gold.. (seems very yellow to me) if its to bright its to yellow and to dark doesnt seem fine aswelldarker brighter anyone has some advise maybe..?should i make it brighter/darker? or is it fine as it is?

I like the dark one. Is PURDY. :D Edit: Though, is it possible to make the inside of the helmet (the eyes mostly) pitch black? Like, you can't see who's behind the mask? :dead:

puh, there is the version up to date.. brighter helmet with "golden" cross and dark interioryou can download it here (included a 3rd texture - without the dark interior) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8HWX6XM1i wonder if there is a way to get rid of the eyes or to change them?

I wuv woo Wohn.Also, i dunno. Maybe they're a separate texture? Although, the texture for the helmet has the eyes themselves.Though, they are kind of closed.Edit:Hey, do you do swords too? : P If you do, can you make the runes on "it_stlswd_012" glow bright red or blue or yellow?

I have a little question. This doesn't concern this file in particular, but all the "play as ..." files. Whenever you talk to someone or enter a new area it seems as though the texture details drop down to "super low" or something. This can only be fixed if you change the view from "F3" to "F2" and back to "F3" again. (if you play in OTS that is). Is there a way to change this ?

well i wanted to start on a sword called Ard'aenye , used by the grandmaster of the order of the flaming rose. (someone asked for it) but i dont really know what texture it uses.. anyone knows?on the "it_stlswd_012 topic - i see what i can do.. but glowing won't be easy ..

i didn't notice that.. i will take a closer look next time

Ard'Aenye is "it_stlswd_017.dds".: DRandom: The second "Ard'Aenye" that shows up as a black box in the inventory (only obtained through editing files) is a giant mace.Is awesome.Is cool.Edit: Also, the quality-lowering doesn't happen for me when I change areas.

thaks a lot for the info :beer:but i think its only the icon texture inside the item menu (it's very low res.)maybe its one of the obj_miecz_* files..and look what i found here ;Di wonder if it's used in game and what potion you could make of it

It's definitely "it_stlswd_017.dds". It also has a normal map. Oh, and that image looks like weed leaves. lol Probably some random herb.Like celandine or white myrtle.
