about the nohud mod: i play with OTS mode (mostly) so i can't press the hud buttons by mistake, but i would like to have the buttons visible while the *pause* mode is activesince you're using transparent textures maybe this can't be posible until the editor comes along, maybe some scripting is necessary

sadly there is no other solution at the moment :-\ (thats why i use the slim HUD mod)but you can change the styles with the keyboard buttons aswell as the signs and geralt draws his sword automaticaly.so if ur used to it you can win the game with the no HUD mod aswell

you need to create a new folder inside your ..the witcher/data directory called overridecopy the files inside it and enjoy the modification

I use the red stuff hiding files myself. I further reduced there filesize to save some memory. The slimeline version looks fantastic. Do the red bars that it gets rid of have any purpose in the game? I can't find a reason for them besides for show.
