[Mod Request] Merge All Regions Together

So I don't know if it's possible without an actual REDKIT or not BUT the idea is...wouldn't it be cool if you could seamlessly travel from White Orchard to Novigrad/Velen to Skellige without a single loading screen? It would be a one single gigantic map uniting all the regions together in one single map tile. And since we've already got this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/470/? that's probably one step closer to getting this idea into a reality. (Even though you fall off the world after going a certain distance with this mod).

I have feeling this would be extremely hard to pull of to be honest and would require the Redkit.

I could be wrong of course.

True BUT......if that were to happen (Either with REDKIT or Modkit), it would be one epic mod.

I don't think many would disagree with you there. :)

Somehow, in this case it does not seem to sound all that epic to me :(

To do it well enough to impress me, you'd have to FILL in the area between the main locales.

Well I was thinking like this. You don't necessarily have to fill the entire land area. A shortcut way would be to travel via sea from Novigrad port area with a boat. And since you can already travel some distance from Novigrad port into the ocean area, the mod would just fill out some more water bodies so you get the illusion that you're crossing the ocean. After you've traveled for a while via sea with your boat, you would see Skellige in the distance. That extra sea landscape in between Novigrad/Skellige would (Possibly?) hide the loading screen in background so you get seamless Novigrad/Skellige transition. It could be possible since there's nothing much taxing on hardware while sea traveling. But all this could require an actual REDKIT for it to become a possibility.

It would be epic only if then you have to spend 2 days in real time to travel to Skellige.

Lol, well yes. :p

If it should take that long for immersions sake, what would be cool though then is you could can set a course and have Geralt meditate on the boat and see the days pass in fast forward until you arrive.

Well, that was the reason behind the CDPR decision of making two separate maps. asd
Yeah, the meditation could be a solution, but it wouldn't be so different from fast travel.

Haha. Now we're getting somewhere. Also someone already made a mod where 1 min in Witcher time = 1 min real world time AND see the game world while meditating like in Witcher 2. So we can check those off the list.

This would mean creating stuff like Cidaris, Brokilon, Gors Velen... In order to merge all the maps together, you'd need to create the places between them too.
Check out this map: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/witcher/images/5/58/World_map.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140622213927
As you can see, you'd need to create a map that's roughly ten to twenty times the size of the current Velen/Novigrad map. Meaning (with redkit of course) this will either not happen or be executed poorly.
It's a cool idea, but a very unrealistic one tbh :/
