@essenthy, no words can explain how overjoyed we are now that STLM is released. A quick question though, which mods do you also you use in conjunction with STLM? I noticed Face them in the video. EDIT: saw the folloiwng -

mods used in the video :

immersive cam : http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/689/?
increased lod : http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/949/?

Did you tweak some of the specific values in your user.settings file?

By the way has the caching issue been resolved? Or do we have to use our old saves first to make it work?

No link to donations (yet) but the mod will certainly affect the games performance by at least 5 fps.

Well now that it's out, hardly a performance hit at all. If anything the new ignite fx + people on fire will drop it a tad, but I'm not really noticing any drops from my usual 55-60fps (mostly low settings). Some Reshade presets I've tried have a higher cost than this.

here are my immersive cam values :

//--- Cameras ---------
// Exploration Camera
default expOffset = 0.2; // increase = right | decrease = left ( vanilla 0 )
default expDepth = 1.4; // increase = zoom in | decrease = zoom out ( vanilla 0 )
default expHeight = 0.5; // increase = higher | decrease = lower ( vanilla 0 )

// Interior Camera
default intDistance = 2.50; // increase to zoom out | decrease to zoom in ( vanilla 1.5 )
default intOffset = 0.2; // increase = right | decrease = left ( vanilla 0.3 )
default intDepth = 0.0; // This value is not really used. You have the distance var which does the same thing.
default intHeight = 0.45; // increase to raise | decrease to lower ( vanilla 0.3 )

// Horseback Camera
default hbDistance = 3.51; // Walk and Trot Camera Distance - increase to zoom out | decrease to zoom in ( vanilla 2.4 )
default hbCanterDis = 3.5; // Canter Camera Distance - increase to zoom out | decrease to zoom in
default hbGallopDis = 4.5; // Gallop Camera Distance - increase to zoom out | decrease to zoom in
default hbCombatDis = 4.1; // Combat Camera Distance - increase to zoom out | decrease to zoom in

i dont know about the cache issue, i think everyone should be fine with an existing save file

Very impressive work! :geraltfeelgood:

thanks ben !!

Hi @essenthy,

first of all thank you for this awesome mod.

I installed it correctly, but have an issue with the sun in ng+ (save created right after killing the ghouls, before installing the mod). There are no light shafts, and the sun looks really weak. In comparison, when loading a save before the final mission (in skellige), the sun behaves normally like in your videos. Do you maybe know how to fix this issue? Starting ng+ after installing also didn't help.

Thanks in advance :D

@essenthy Most amazing, interesting and creative MOD F.A.Q. ever. That last 'me too' was epic ending. :D

Edit: Will you still improve something in STLM or you will only create cold version? And if you will improve can you tell what you will improve further?

Yeah, after testing it a little it's strongest at dawn and sunset (that skellige sun I mentioned was during sunset).

Anyway, thanks a lot for this mod, I've finished the game about 2 weeks ago and was eagerly anticipating this, it really makes the game look like something new, and skellige is simply astonishing with it (also have to give credit to CDPR, nothing could be possible without their work).

Enjoy the incoming praise, you've earned it :D

Anyone with a 1.08 savegame right on the start of the game that includes (yorveth side -> save triss -> letho alive ) please feel free to pm me.
