Many of us know this… You see a cutscene or an in-game scene and you hit upon an unsual or funny caption. We moderators know you all have an impressive creativity and imagination and we want to challenge this ability with our

Conditions of participation
Make a screenshot and embellish it with a caption which may astonish us and the community because the best two screens will be rewarded. You can add speech bubbles or make a comment / subtitle.

• Each person has one submission for only one screenshot with caption.
• Theme of your caption is Halloween or Thanksgiving. But if you have a caption which is incredibly fun but has no relation the the contest's topic you can take it as well.
  You are allowed to add event-related items like Jack-o'-lantern Turkey as support but the decisive factor is the caption.
• Don't post your works in this thread. Captioned screens you post here can't join the contest.
• The duration of the Caption Contest is two weeks and ends on Sunday, 27.11.2011, 11:59 PM.
• Send your submissions via Personal Message to our moderator team represented by *Tommy*, secondchildren and Petra Silie.
  Please make sure the subject is: "Caption Contest".

Rating & Jury
After deadline we collect all works and replace the artists' names with numbers, so each screen is nameless. Then we show you, our community a 'best-of' selection and you vote our two finalists.


Training & entertainment
You can post caption screens here just for fun, training, inspiration but please bear in mind that screens which are posted here can't join the contest anymore because all screens have to be anonymous for the final rating.

I have a small question...

I get that we can add Halloween related stuff, but can we photoshop and combine 2 different screenshots into one (i.e. placing a dude's head into another dude's body)?

It's all right if we can`t, its just that I have "the perfect weeeiird idea" for one...

Don`t see why not just don`t forget the captions or talk bubbles . I`m not even going to ask about the ie part hmmm...no i`m not !

I made a training / inspiration screen

Unluckily this *** *** upload page shrinked my screens and spoiled. So I have to explain (this is rediculous)

With a mellow angel's voice (depicted with the beautiful font and flowers) Geralt says: "Trick or Treat!"

- Nothing happens -

in his own peaceful voice he says "C’mon, open the gate. Don’t be afraid, it’s just a kid’s game."

and deviously thinks "Trust me..."

The Halloween raid will fail because you made their plan public

I got a new one as well but... it's not Halloween or Thanks Giving related. When I saw this snap I could think of a suitable caption but something else

So, if you get a caption for a screen shot which isn't related to the contest's topic we will accept that too... the main thing is we have something to

Though this thread is called "Moderators' ... contest" it doesn't mean only moderators attend. It means we Mods invite you our dear members to send screens and present some 'just for fun' screens

Anyway, recently I met Iorweth in the forrest, seems that he has some probs with the inhabitants

Your pictures where looking for, how to put up?

After making the picture, upload it in a file hosting site like, photobucket, flikr, facebook or imageshack, or anything you feel comfortable with. Then post the direct link to the image as a private message to one of us-moderators.

Well, c'mon, not even a subtitle to a screen which offers many interpretations when you don't listen to the dialogues?

I mean if you (all) get an idea 5 minutes before deadline and this idea happen to you when you don't play the game but ... take a shower, water the flowers, queue up at the post office, have an argument with your boss or teacher...
