Any pro ccg players will tell you , you never have to much info to make the right play. Knowing how many cards had been played, what exactly was that card that had been played and you couldn't read it , etc...

a pile ( maybe smaller size ) of each players banished cards is , to my opinion, a must have.

Already suggested here. It's one of the most requested features. So it will probably be implemented in some form in the final release.
