I was actually asking if it was already present in the literature, but if there is a Witcher school introduced in TW3 that utilizes this or (this seems less likely unless there is precedent that Witchers can and would choose to undergo more trials) there is a chance Geralt can imbibe something that changes his makeup to be sea-ready I'd definitely be game for that.

Looks like we inspired each other, Blue :)

I've played the new assassin's creed, and while I do not agree with every decision ubisoft has made with that particular franchise, I must say that ship combat/boarding and open world travel is extremely enjoyable. I understand the witcher 3 is a different beast altogether, and I wouldn't want it to be any other way, Yet I feel there could be some untapped potential in controlling a ship on the seas via open world
