More Hairstyles Available for V (Suggestion)

I'd say I speak for a lot of people when it comes to wanting more Hairstyles available for V.

It's not asking for too much since the textures are already in the game, they just need to be made available for V. I never understood why devs would go into the trouble of creating textures/meshes for NPCs, yet keeping them locked for the MC. This goes for clothes too. So many ridiculously good clothes for NPCs exist, yet none are available for V despite having the same body proportions with 90% of random NPCs.

I had high hopes when I saw that the 2.2 Update brought in so many new Character Creation options. Sadly, no new Hairstyles or hair colors were added and no existing ones were made available for V.

Seriously the amount of hair used by NPCs that is locked for V is ridiculous.

Many essential NPC hair (e.g., Panam, Lizzie, Claire, Hanako) are unavailable for V, while other essential NPC hair are available for V for some reason (e.g., Evelyn, Judy, Rogue, Goro). Also, many side-characters and gangs have hair that can't be used by V (e.g., Cloud's girl, Brigitte, Voodoo Boys). Not to mention that Phantom Liberty added so many new hairstyles for both male and female yet none became available for V - not a single one.

The current amount of hairstyles is nice; however, most hair are either extremely ugly (you will never see them being used) or are identical clones of each other. For instance, there are 3 almost identical ponytails, there are 3 versions of skin-heads, there are more than 4 almost identical bobs, there are 3 almost identical long-loose hair. All these are nice but they are overkill when there are so many unique hairstyles in-game that are locked for V. Removing the gender-lock for hairstyles could also be an option.

I know modding is possible, but it gets frustrating because each hairstyle you add has to replace another - essentially cancelling each other out - many of them have issues and most need to be updated after every update.

Can we please get some more hair options available for V?

I would love to see more textured hairstyles for V, it’s a shame we only have a few. Hairstyles from the voodoo boys and Brigitte could be unlocked for V. I hope in the upcoming patch updates, they’ll give us more hairstyles.

Sé que es posible realizar modificaciones, pero resulta frustrante porque cada peinado que agregas tiene que reemplazar a otro, cancelándose esencialmente entre sí; muchos de ellos tienen problemas y la mayoría deben actualizarse después de cada actualización.

¿Podemos tener más opciones de cabello disponibles para V?

I completely agree, it doesn't make sense to lock down certain hairstyles for V. Honestly, I'd really appreciate it if they added those haircuts. Not everyone has a PC to modding the game.
