In 2012 6 fantasy RPGs were already released (and I don't count fantasy jRPGs, indie games (Legend of Grimrock) and ported games (TW2)). And how many SF RPGs were released? 1. So yeah, as OP suggested we are really overflooded with SF RPG and it's disaster that CDPR decided to make something so OVERDONE like SF RPG.
Of course we all would like to hear news about The Witcher 3, but as stated before, it's unreasonable to expect them to reveal details at this point. You got your hopes up too high, now get over it and stop throwing dirt at CDP.sandisrd said:

Come on!, company like CDPR building such a big fan base because of TW realistic franchise presents now this childish (Deus ex style) game, biggest disappointment, truly biggest from CDPR!, well reason for that is because this company was last hope for video game industry mature players.....
Well "a protagonist framed for the murder chasing the baddie to clear his name" at the beginning doesn't sound very original ether and look how it turned out. I'm sure there are people who'd think "swords, dragons and magic? damn that has to be childish." and doing exactly the same in the opposite direction isn't a wise thing. You can't judge a game like that just because it has a cyberpunk setting. I can't wait to hear more details and I'm sure something really good will emerge from this as long as CDPR is doing it so calm down.sandisrd said:

I had never interested (my knowledge of SF were frozen with Isaac Assimov or Blade Runner, some centuries ago,I admit.). I've never played FF Saga or Deux (Fallout is my max-headroom in SF-RPG), but your refusal, so visceral, has convinced me to take a chance on this cyberpunk world.

TW3 will be announced for sure, but not now, not this time. So just let us our nerdism have fun, and enjoy the moment of seeing this epic rpg. If you're not interested, then skip it. You'll have your chance to enjoy another mature medieval rpg soon the same.sandisrd said:
