I'm just curious what people think they'll gravitate towards for transportation on their personal journey/exploration of Night City, and/or if you guys have any particular models that you're really into?

Personally I'm excited for the motorcycles, I'm really into the Nasare model and am really excited and curious to see the customization options on top of seeing how everything handles ^_^

Motorcycles!

As soon as I get my hands on a Yaiba Kusanagi, I'm not travelling through Night City any other way.

I don't like how the cars in GTA 5 drive, especially the fast ones, they slide way to much I think. And from what I understand it's basically the same in Cyberpunk. So I will probably use motorcycle or run, whenever possible.

I will walk and take in every detail first so I know where everything is but after, I will drive on whatever I feel is comfortable whether it's a motorcycle or a car

I never played GTA 5, but I've seen and heard that from friends who have played. Unless I somehow come across a car I fall in love with (I'm more of an old muscle car fan, and I'm not really into cars as far as gaming generally, both design and handling-wise, so doubtful lol) I'm going to gravitate towards motorcycles and traveling on foot too

I favor horsepower over speed. So I'll take a large truck, if I can get my hands on one. The bigger, the better.

Just like in real life, I want to drive around really slow and get in everyones way, backing up traffic.

If not that then Ill take a farm tractor! ^^

I think that's legit one of the best approaches anyone can take for getting acquainted with someplace, locations seem to solidify better mentally when you're on foot, even more so than map navigation, and it gives a more immersive and realistic feel, but I'm just speaking from personal experience, to each their own obviously ^_^

I've always loved baja / rally trucks so if I can find me one of those in the Badlands that is what I will be rocking.

I'm pretty interested in the bikes as well, so if they are easier to handle in the busy city I might be pulled in that direction.

When there is a open-world game out, I always walk first before thinking of driving through the map because I am new to the place just like a million other players but once I know where everything is at least if a 'online multiplayer' comes out, I will know the map and not suck at finding places for missions or that

Oh absolutely. Nothing grinds my gears like looking at a waypoint on a map and having no idea where it actually is lol. The other thing is it gives you a real idea of your environment, you can actually absorb the things around you and the scale of it all that you won't get if you just speed through the streets right away. I'm looking forward to experiencing Night City and exploring all of its nooks and crannies.

Yeah, jokes about slow trucks aside, Im a walker. Dont get into vehicles too much unless its part of a mission. I like walking round, walking into random stores along the way...

Thats one reason I am excited about this particular game. The map looks beautiful, very explorable, and loaded with stuff to do and visual goodies.

If Ihave a mission on the other side of the map, and I know the area in between it well enough then I usually fast travel at that point.

In RDR2 taking that train got tedious. Id usually get bored and just try to rob it and then die. It was a beautiful game too, but the traveling got boring, the map wasnt loaded enough.

I dont think CP77 is going to have that problem. It looks like its going to be more like Fallout4, where walking never got dull.

To me they seem to accelerate way to fast, and the moment you press a button they just turn very rapidly so you lose control. Its great if you have to get away fast, but if you just need to go from A to B its annoying.

I actually think that Mafia 1 or 2 handled it very nice, there you could turn on a speed limit, which made sure that you didn't break the law and got the police after you, but also made your car drive much more casual like you would expect it to. And was really great for just cruising around.

In GTA 5 you can just run red lights at 200 km/h and the police doesn't care at all. :(

Motorcycles all the way, since it's one of the rare times I'll get to see my character.

I liked stealing busses. Then going on a rampage through town, listening to all the people in the back screaming.

GTA not my favorite series by a long shot, but I dont think Ive ever laughed so hard playing that game at times. That game is hilarious... Esp. Trevor. Trevor was modeled after Steven Ogg. Didnt know it at first but I knew he looked familiar.

Motorcycle for me...The more "Akira" like the better. In fact I suspect that I'm not gonna use the fast travel all that often (if at all) considering I already saw some model that would fit that role nicely.

Am I gonna need Int for that to happen? Can you buy vehicle in CP or do you have to hack/steal them all (I don't even know)?

As far as my knowledge, you will be able to purchase your own vehicle, whatever your preference may be... pretty sure with certain tech attributes/skills you'll also be able to snatch a car but you won't be able to take over ownership of said vehicle.

Honestly, it's going to depend on the world and vehicle handling. I find myself fast travelling in games where the vehicle handling sucks or the world just isn't particularly interesting. I play modded GTA V a ton and using realistic handling mods with real world cars, I'll just drive around the city and outskirts for hours. Not doing anything, just driving. I'm hoping I'll be able to get as lost in this
