Mouse lag?

I have a dv6-6135dx laptop. This computer can run Skyrim, Saints Row The Third, BF3 no problems. This game I have horrible mouse lag that makes the game unplayable... I will be moving my mouse around and after I stop the mouse will move for a good second afterwards.... It doesn't matter if its on low/med/high, resolution, windowed or fullscreen.

Forgot to mention it doesn't matter if I turn off Crossfire as well. :( Any help I appreciate.

-Texture downscaling: None

-Texture memory size: Large

- Shadow quality: Low

- Anti-aliasing: Disabled

- Cinematic depth of field: Enabled

- Dangling objects limit: Disabled

- Ubersampling: Don't even bother

This is really bugging me... :(

Have you tried to make some mouse adjustments in the user.ini file (My Documents\Witcher 2\Config)? Be sure to back it up before making any changes.

Wasn`t aware that HP made a laptop model with Crossfire , sure you don`t mean switchable graphics ? You might be able to achieve less mouse lag by disabling some of the eye candy like motion blur and some of the others . Might even consider scaling back on the screen resolution such as 1280 X 720 .

input lag is a widely reported unfixed bug in this game. see this thread...

Could be "hybrid Crossfire". The dv6 has it. "Hybrid Crossfire" is an asymmetrical Crossfire setup between the integrated GPU and a discrete GPU.

It's usually a Bad Idea, because the discrete GPU has to be throttled down to match the integrated GPU. On the dv6, this results in the relatively powerful 6750m discrete GPU being crippled to match the Llano GPU.

But there have been so many reports of mouse lag on HP rigs that I'm starting to wonder whether the problem is a destructive interaction between the game and one of the crapware services HP loads their laptops up with.
