I REALLY hope this [Kung Fury] somehow ends up on GoG eventually.

I proposed it to them. However authors plan to release it for free, so I think it's more up to GOG if they want to host free films. For example they avoid recent free games, even really great ones. Other than that, it's indeed a great candidate for GOG

They already host one short and one full length feature that are free of charge and relatively new on top of that (one is from 2013, the other from last year). But if the creators plan to release it for free anyway then it shouldn't be much of a problem to get hold of this. Being Swedes they even might consider releasing through The Pirate Bay.

I can't wait for this. So far away, but looks great anyway. I'm a bit worried about the overuse of CGI effects, like in Man of Steel.. the director has a thing for it.

And that scene with the female Kryptonian taking out a bunch of soldiers? No way around using CG stand-ins for something like this:

For BvS: DoJ I think Snyder will keep it to a minimum. After all, there's (so far) only the inevitable clash between Batman and Superman which in theory wouldn't even require the amount of FX or digital retouching used in MoS, unless Batman's armored suit is all CGI as was the case with Zod's armor. And that one already looked very, very impressive.

Yeah true, in Man of Steel the only part that was too much, was really the fight with Zod, flying around, but you're right.

I don't know if Batman's new armor in the trailer was CGI too or no, but if it is, it looks very good! I didn't actually realize Zod's armor was CGI, until I saw the behind the scenes video.

Just finished watching the leftovers ( hbo ). Big surprise. It's kinda weird and I was lost sometimes but man it was emotional. It's a I love it or hate it kinda of show I think. And thumbs up to the music, one of the best I heard in a long time. If someone watched it here, I'd love to talk about Wayne with them

And thus Vikings Season 3 ends. What spectacle and was an amazing trick by Ragnar. Historically it was Bjorn who did something like that when raiding Italy so I suppose they won't go that far with Bjorn's story...or maybe they will who knows.

Caught a new version of Arthur & Merlin over the weekend. Big fan of the Arthurian legends so thought this did a good job. Obviously lacks the big budget SFX if you're used to The Hobbit & Lotr, but for an independent film it's turned out pretty well I thought.

i will for sure watch the movie but not all those trailers, for me they showed way too much of the movie with all those trailers

Started watching it yesterday (2 episodes as of now) and I'm really surprised how well made it is. Not overdone with superhero nonsense, no cringy lines.
Reminded me of the first season of Arrow (when it was a realistic take on the hero).

Wait till you see the 2 minute one-shot fight scene, I think it's in ep3 or so, best choreography i've ever seen.

Still not the best fictional fight on celluloid ever though...

Watched the last episode last night. Best show I've seen in years, glad MARVEL have done the character justice, very true to the comics, season 2 can't come quick enough! Just need to fold him into the MCU, the nods to the Avengers throughout made it all feel connected.

On a continued super hero trend, WB have just released some art for the upcoming Batman V Superman, giving a good look at the suits, and a strange choice in Boxing-esque posters.
