Just to remind everyone, this is NOT going to be an MMO. That's already been confirmed.
And thank god for that....Just to remind everyone, this is NOT going to be an MMO. That's already been confirmed.
Only in the special edition provided exclusively to people with numbers instead of names. So just to be clear, this is definitely an MMO with lots of PvP and mandatory microphones, then?
Goddamn. That figures. Why does HE get one?! I want one too! It's not fair!Only in the special edition provided exclusively to people with numbers instead of names.
You wrote a FAQ? I'm only half joking; the problem with stickies is that you get so used to scrolling past them that the threads become practically invisible. It's like I never wrote a FAQ. Sob.
An MMO I have to play all by myself? How am I supposed to pwn n00bs and hurl racist/sexist/xenophobic epithets if no one is there to harass? It's like you don't even understand the one-upmanship and bigotry that make MMOs so appealing to people!Only in the special edition provided exclusively to people with numbers instead of names.
big girls dont cry...It's like I never wrote a FAQ. Sob.
Unfortunately far to many people actually do play MMOs with an attitude very similar to this. How am I supposed to pwn n00bs and hurl racist/sexist/xenophobic epithets if no one is there to harass? If the MP came as an expansion I would be fine, though I would prefer co-op with the first release. This is how I think it should be done: make the best damn SP experience they can. It's new territory for them, after all. They should really take their time in getting the campaign, missions and gunplay right. Then release an expansion later on, with co-op or some other form of MP. That'll keep gamers coming back months after release and lure in a whole new player base.
Agreed. They can always build up excitement, as GTA did, for 2077 Online, then release it months later. Give us time to really scour the game without being distracted by the urge to shoot Redg...er, other players. This is how I think it should be done: make the best damn SP experience they can. GTA V is tragedy in the form of bad luck...I'm sure.
I never did get into GTA V online. They had all those bugs and wipe issues, then my Net connection went to shite for a bit, then your BluRay died...still haven't played more than ten minutes.
Haven't even finished the main campaign yet, in fact.
