Just to remind everyone, this is NOT going to be an MMO. That's already been confirmed.
I wouldn't mind co-op in a game like this, as long as we can customize our character to make them distinctly unique from other people.

You wrote a FAQ? I'm only half joking; the problem with stickies is that you get so used to scrolling past them that the threads become practically invisible.
An MMO I have to play all by myself? How am I supposed to pwn n00bs and hurl racist/sexist/xenophobic epithets if no one is there to harass? It's like you don't even understand the one-upmanship and bigotry that make MMOs so appealing to people!
Unfortunately far to many people actually do play MMOs with an attitude very similar to this.
Makes you wonder what they're like real-life.
I always picture them as "high school bullies" ... one of the many things I don't miss at all from my teen years.
I have to wonder exactly what sort of multi-player co-op they do have in mind.
This is how I think it should be done: make the best damn SP experience they can. It's new territory for them, after all. They should really take their time in getting the campaign, missions and gunplay right. Then release an expansion later on, with co-op or some other form of MP. That'll keep gamers coming back months after release and lure in a whole new player base.
If the MP came as an expansion I would be fine, though I would prefer co-op with the first release.
Interestingly, I watched the first announcement video again. It is specifically stated that CDPR has exclusive rights on all Cyberpunk games and they intend to release more than one game in that setting...
An MMO could potentially happen. And imagine if CDPR did produce an MMO. If anyone could make one that would actually be good, it's them.
Agreed. They can always build up excitement, as GTA did, for 2077 Online, then release it months later. Give us time to really scour the game without being distracted by the urge to shoot Redg...er, other players.

One integrating multiplayer systems into the single player campaign. So yeah none of the above;P gta actually started like that then it went shite, only to start to improve from the ashes with the latest games (dark souls games also do their part). Not a new topic but the point is supporting a multiplayer that fits rpg's. It's also something inherent to the degree of story driven stuff.
