I think Damon Albarn from Gorillaz (i think thats how you spell his name) is a really good example of being monotone while sitting nicely in the track.Imagine your vocals with the 'melody' following a nice pattern like in this example song and I think it'd be awesome

Just got gut-punched...was thinking about my project and realised I bounced a version with a vocal sample I shouldn't have used in it. I am KICKING myself for not realising that sooner! Such an oversight...
Not sure I'm up for sharing mine yet because of this... Maybe once I've cleaned up a version without it I will, though I'll feel bad that I technically worked on it after the fact when everyone else has posted theirs as-is. Ffffffffffffffffff what to dooo... This is worse than knowing I didn't get to finish mastering the track because of the windstorm that hit the day needed to submit it. That was bad enough to deal with at the time.
Aaaaanyway... I need to get back to listening through these tracks, I've liked so many of them. Hearts for everybody! ♡♡♡°♡˖♡✧♡◝(⁰▿⁰)◜♡✧♡˖°♡♡♡
