Music sound is cackling

The problem persisted from start to finish. It affects only the music volume, but if i turn the music down to zero, the cackling stops. It is very bad, so bad that i couldn't put my headphones on. It never happened while playing other GOG games.

Yes. The same, but i think it was even worse for me. That video cackling is a bit mellow, even turned up.
