Must haves for the DLC/Huge Patch January/March for Panam, Judy, River

It's a little ridiculous to demand a gay character be made bi- or hetero because you want to fuck them in game.

She's gay for a reason, dude. Fuck someone else in game. Maybe make a lesbian friend in real life and realize how creepy and entitled you sound right now.

Damn right. Too many threads have turned into "make Judy bi!" threads, and it's honestly pushing me.

You see/hear it with majority of games with romance options tbh, the old BioWare forums were horrendous for it an not just from hetero players the LBGT players can just be as bad.

Alot of ppl seem to have some perceived entitlement on how writers and developes portray there characters, when in actual fact all they have is take it or dont.

Everyone can romance Judy and Everyone can romance Panam and River, you just need to play the game properly to do so, just like you need to play it properly to get the ending you want.

The problem isnt the game or the characters, the problem is the player who refuses to step out there "comfort" zone and try something different.

You complain about lack of choice and consequence then complain about the consequence of your very first choice....mmmmm

I could go on but theres no point, these threads and the accompanied complaints and arguments to and fro will always be around and always have the same arguments for and against

This is very true. It seems really creepy.

Moreover, in terms of replayablity, having characters that require your character to be of a certain gender is good for replayability. It is good that Judy is a lesbian and Panam is straight. Means more choices for different games.

XD i hoped that this thread will be about things we want to see like:
1. Being able to go on a date with judy/panam/river(cause it's weird that u literally fuck in the last mission and then all you do together is texting, at least with judy) we should be able to take our output to a bar for example.
2. More dialogues with outputs. We get one new dialogue from judy if we romance her, and a couple of text messages that end up with a gift, The messages are pretty cute and well writen(many of them refer to her spanish/mexican origins) but it's still not enough, i know it's not a dating simulator, but i think that we need bigger interaction with Judy and Panam because they both are most important to the main story. I don't need more sex stuff, i just think about more dialogues and oppurtunities to spend time with them, Characters here are really well written and exploring their past and what they like is really awesome.
3. I think that panam needs something more. From main storyline and sidequests we can learn everything about judy, Her apartment is a small museum of her when u can read notes about her and get some useful hints from johny(if u are female V he will tell that Judy have a crush in you the first time u go to her apartment, u just have to interact with the robot sitting on a table next to the window) From pyramid song mission u can learn so much about her past, how her relations with other people looked when she was small etc. It's a great way to expand character by simple things. And with panam on the other side.... We don't know much about her, the main storyline tells us almost nothing beyond that the family(aldecaldos)and her car are the most important things to her. We don't know nothing about her past and we don't know what she likes to do in her free time etc. I think that one mission that would focus on Panam's life would be a good thing. Just like the pyramid song quest with Judy. That one quest told us many things about her past 1.where she was born 2. who raised her 3. how her relations with other people looked. 4. How did she end up in Night city 5. What's her biggest hobby and many more That one quest perfectly develops her character and i think that we should see something like that with Panam.
4. I think it's a bug that should be fixed, if u wanna read this i have to warn u about spoilers in Arasaka ending
So in the epilogue of that ending you are being kept in space station. After some tests u can call judy. She will ask u to come back quick. And that's where the problem begins. I felt sad for her and i wanted to come back to earth so i refused arasakas contract offer and came back to earth. And still i got the same credit video as i would see if i decided to stay in space. I don't know is that a glitch or the devs forgot about making another video in case player decides to come back to earth :/ I came back to earth for her and she sent me message where she says that she is leaving night city because i didn't came back to earth LOL

I hoped that people will give their ideas here but it turned into "make Judy bi because i can't fuck her" thread. I don't see any thread like this with panam(and she is hetero so u cant romance her with female V) but with judy omg i see it everywhere.

This has been a grievance of mine in RPGs with romance arcs for as long as I can remember. The vast majority of them don't know to (and forgive me for how I word this) end goal a romance outside of sex.

You're right - it doesn't need to be a dating sim - but they do so many buddy relationships well - it's weird they can't quite make a relationship arc without ending it pretty much at the "We'll bang, ok?"

You're so not wrong right now - there is so many old BSN forum vibes going on it's kind of freaky.

CD Projekt used to be such a fan of BioWare they're inadvertently following them to the letter.

Current BSN Level - ME3 / DA2

If I can lift some worries of "our straight male faction" (I am one too),
I played as female trans V (female body with more land down south) and could romance Judy just fine.
I think the sex scenes are done in a way that would not really affect which gender the player is.

Even then I think Judy should remain the same. as should all others. I think it not only adds variety, but also some sense of depth to it. (I hope I am able to convey it correctly :) )

I have been thinking the same thing. I am sick and tired of sex being used as a means to an end when usually (not in every case) it can be one of the first things couples may experience. If I wanted to work so hard through a 10 hour story arc just to watch some action I would go watch porn. :coolstory:

I'd love Takemura for my female V. I wish they'd add his (clearly) cut content back in. Like, I'd be thrilled with ANY additional Takemura content (but ecstatic if it's the romance).

For the first DLC/expansion, I really hope it includes more content for the existing romances, and some new people for V to love, too (choice!).

I love Kerry doesn't even come up anymore in a discussion about love interests lol

Please make Takemura bi tho! *crosses fingers*

Judy should be allowed to be bi sexual. She's a genius tech person IRL she'd be a pansexual and should love the V with intelligence regardless of genital. Out of the three we get to see her the most which we appreciate but you missed potential *SPOILER* what if instead of the lousy turn out to the club you run it with her for a little? Drive a drunk who's had too many home, Stop a club shoot out, Go pick up girls for the club [I Repeat how haven't you guys thought of this]
This is some shitpost worthy content right here.

Listen, my guy, have some respect for the writers. And their decisions to make the characters unique, with depth, and not some cardboard boxes that prefer to sleep with anyone. I'm a straight male myself, and I have zero problems with other sexualities in the game. Hell, I even have a reason to play a female character this time around, which is a breath of fresh air for me (Cherami Leigh > Gavin Drea).

I agree with everything, except on the part about Judy. She is what she is: herself. I was into her, before discovering she was lesbian and that changed the relationship: in the end, Judy became my V's best friend...and that's perfect, there's no need to change characters sexuality to be player dependant.
But I agree that this game needs more character related content, more quests and more ways to build up relatonships.

I agree with the Judy thing. To have such few romance options and restrict any of them just seems idiotic to me. Game Devs don't seem to learn that most players prefer being able to choose, rather than being forced into or out of something just for the sake of it.

They can't keep making new scenes, but i think just some generic scene for every romance character, where if you sleep where they live, so judy's appartement or panam's nomad camp,etc...Screen fade to black and you open your eyes next to romance character and they say something cute to you, and you get up would be quite cool. And even if they don't make more scenes, more texts, i love getting texts from Judy or Panam, especially when you are in romance with them and they send cute texts :p

I mean it's literally teaching you that not everyone thinks you're 'hot', just like in reality. You can't force or demand a lesbian to like you because you're attracted to her, and you don't like the hetero girl in your group. That's messed up. People say they like Judy, love her personality and respect her but then spit on the fact she's gay because they can't bone if they're male.

There should have just been more romance options, that's it. That's the line.
