My personal wish list. --- What do you guys / gals think?

+
1. Glamour system ( transmog system). If we can change our characters facial looks we should be able to change the look or style of our clothing. Clothing in this game looks horrible... unless we are able to put certain pieces together for a better look.

2. The ability to steal and keep at least 3 of those vehicles.

3. The ability to respawn all of the organized crime spots and even the police scanner hustles. All of these areas especially the organized crime zones are just empty. No gangs or homeless move into them.

4. The ability to increase mob difficulty. Upon reaching lvl 50 all mobs shouldn’t be very easy difficulty (grey in color). Why not give us the ability to respawn organized crime areas AND make these mobs harder ( Red in color)

5. New game +

6. The removal of most fast travel terminals. The whole point of open world games is to travel through the world not teleport everywhere. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose? Vehicles are a huge crux of this game. There are quests that have us buy vehicles all day and vehicles to steal. So traveling by car should be mandatory. Why not keep fast travel to easy and normal modes. Hard and very hard should have 90% them removed.

7. More music

8. Joining a gang / NCPD. Having police / gang rep of some sort.

9. More side quests and gigs. ( This is actually my #1) They should give us a bunch via DLC to hold us off until an expansion. Long chain quests would be GREAT, having us do different things all across NC as we progress through the quest chain. Wouldn't a long quest chain that takes place in a huge sky scrapper kick a**? There are so many huge buildings in the corpo area that are nothing. (locked)

10. When talking to NPCs for quests ( MSQ , gigs, side quests)...the ability to change the camera out of first person view so you can see your character and the npc talking. Sort of like what we see at the end of the game.

11. CO-OP where we can hang out with other peoples Vs in their world and do quests / gigs together. Or hang out in their NEW apartments. Wouldnt it be cool if lets say a party or game of 4 players can all get in the same car and ride around NC?, and there are various things for us to do? Like taking down Bosses? or assulting a police station, or breaking into a corporation to steal something?

12. CHALLENGE MODES:

- like street racing

- A save Jackie Wells challenge mode to keep our best comrade alive.

- surviving a hudge swarm of gang members and seeing how long you can last

- Police chases that require you to cleverly hop in and out of different cars to help get away and escape.

- Brawling ladders ( fist fights) that lets you go as far as possible without being defeated. When you die you start over.

- A courier mode, where you have to deliver packages of various natures to ALL areas of NC within a specific time limit... But the catch is that you HAVE to know your way around NC. That means no GPS to guide us.
( This same concept can be used in like a taxi service where you take a job as a taxi driver or chauffeur to take people to various locations in the city... but again with no GPS. Wouldn't it be cool if "Mama Wells" or the Clown Guy calls us because they need a drop off somewhere? This would be great for all the hardcore cyberpunk players :D

- Some sort of Cyberpsyo challenge ( we become one?)

- A mode where we are tasked to save people in a certain order or as fast as possible

Its endless with what they can do with NC. Night City is there, cdproject red just needs to do something with it. BUT I have to say; Huuuuge props to them when it came to listening and engaging with the community and giving us that current patch and fixes. I like where things seem to be heading with this game.

well if CDPR sticks to their no radiant quest stance a lot of those wishes are out the window. they want handcrafted story driven quests with no chance to veer from the designed path but yet make you think you have an actual impact on the outcome

What do you or what do they mean by " no radiant quest" ?

yes, it really is for a short for an RPG but as an interactive story it is quite long

Do you think playing the same game for 20000 hours is normal and that every game studio should adjust their vision and try to model their games for this mindset?
Besides, CDPR makes story-focused games and Cyberpunk was advertised as such from beginning:

yeah kind of why they added the RPG tag back to game descrption after 1.5
And no, no games should want a loyal fan base that will dump years into playing their games

Just want to add regarding comparable story driven games from 2020 (when CP 2077 was released)
The Outer World and Wasteland 3 becoming more to mild successes. They had this thing in common, they didn't overstay their welcome and dragged things for the sake expanding game length. Quality vs. Quantity and CP 2077 has that on its side too.

Huh? It was always described as an RPG everywhere but on their twitter account. It's still described as "open-world action-adventure story" on twitter.
And no, no games should want a loyal fan base that will dump years into playing their games
No one is preventing anyone form starting a new playthrough and replaying the game anytime they want and getting those 20000 hours. The only difference is whether you'll be playing the game with same character or a new one.

Exactly. I'd rather have 15-20 hours of pure awesomeness than 200000 hours of repetitiveness and boredom.

70-120 hours (depending on the playstyle) to finish everything the game has to offer is so short? :-/
In todays gaming market in 2022 yes.

The main story quest line is to short, yes or no?

There’s not enough side content in the game, and when we do the side stuff at or close to max level for instance it’s way to easy, yes or no?

They have spent 10 years making this game so it should be so much more than what it is now.

Not according to this:
https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=2127 (103 hours on the average for completionists)
https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=79775 (75.5 hours)
https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=68151 (85 hours)
https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=80870 (56.5 hours)

It is short-ish, but not spectacularly short.

There’s not enough side content in the game, and when we do the side stuff at or close to max level for instance it’s way to easy, yes or no?
There are 80 sidequests, 86 gigs and 321 NCPD scanner hustles. That's not how I'd describe the game with not enough side content. Besides, there will be free DLCs and expansions.
They have spent 10 years making this game so it should be so much more than what it is now.
4.5. Not 10.

Both of these will likely be added down the line.

3. The ability to respawn all of the organized crime spots and even the police scanner hustles. All of these areas especially the organized crime zones are just empty. No gangs or homeless move into them.

This wouldn't really add much to the game, in my opinion. it'd just be like adding more assault locations, yeah they're fun to do but they aren't much more than repeatable filler content to build up street cred & xp with snippets of stories on shards. Though it'd be good to have better level scaling so enemies at lv 50 aren't wet towels.

6. The removal of most fast travel terminals. The whole point of open world games is to travel through the world not teleport everywhere. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose? I don't think this is a problem, they should remain there for players that do not want to drive everywhere, I don't think removing these for hard or very hard difficulty would make the game any harder.. all it would do is make the game slower. I personally drive or parkour everywhere because I enjoy exploring around night city, but for some that may not be fun or they might not have the time.

I do, however, think it'd be nice to have more immersive forms of fast travel, like taxis (maybe with some funny or interesting dialogue with the cabbie) or using the metro system in real time. For when you need a break from using your keyboard/controller.

10. When talking to NPCs for quests ( MSQ , gigs, side quests)...the ability to change the camera out of first person view so you can see your character and the npc talking. Sort of like what we see at the end of the game.
Personally would like something like this that would change dialogue into a cutscene rather than the free-roam dialogue we have right now. It'd be nice to have as an option, so all that customisation I spend on making V look a certain way actually matters. I'd prefer this wasn't the "standard", but it'd be nice to have as a toggleable option.

I think open-world activities & minigames should really be CDPR's next priority to add some downtime between missions. I love the game and I've spent way too many hours in it but it'd be nice so it's not just run there do that, go there do that. Feels like I'm playing a task simulator rather than an open-world game sometimes. :coolstory:

Hey,
I would like to see some choices be viable (and have consequences) (at least in) main missions (pardon me if they already do):
- control flathead in the Maelstrom mission (including invisibility, stealth kills, hacking, combat, disabling Brick's mine or Royce's skeleton,...)
- some consequences for playing stealthfully in the Heist (maybe the crew won't be on the news,...?)
- some other choices and consequences in the Heist (eavesdrop on the mayor, kill/hack the netrunner specialist,...?)
- some things about the Evelynn rescue mission (e.g.: Judy will sneak into and ride away with their van. Many of them will follow her, making it much easier for V to reach the lower levels. She will crash it not far away and run back to V,...?)
- why V gets headaches when sabotaging the generator tower in the Helman chase mission; and Panam is fine? If it's because of the relic, wouldn't it be more intuitive to display some message about its malfunction or something...?
- get some nomads to attack/sneak into the gas station where Helman is hidden...?
- ...

Johny would drink to Jackie when V sits in the Afterlife

These ideas are meant to make a playthrough situationally smoother and hopefully a bit more non-V-focused and unique...

Well, if all current problems aren't fixed by the time they stop patching, the one thing that could possibly keep me interested in the game would be 3rd person perspective. Surely if old games like Skyrim etc can do it, so can a modern one.
