I found out how much you can sell the bolts for near the end of my 2nd playthrough. MAN if I would've known that earlier. I went to hell and back just to get enough money to afford some of the crafting materials for mastercrafted Witcher gear.
i think base things needs to be adjusted. Like for example instead of abundant Dwaren Spirit, they could make White Gull the only alcohol capable replenishing potions... this way, player would have to spend money buying ingredients to make White Gull... plus this would also increase difficulty for player as he could not replenish his potions without any issue like it is right now...
That's actually a great idea for players who want a greater challenge, and should be implemented in Death March. Also, a major problem with this game is that you have way way way more crafting material (herbs especially) than you could ever use in 100 playthroughs. A system where if wanna you replenish potions, you would actually need to use new materials instead of just refreshing would really help you burn down the cash reserves.

The joy of it is one crafting session yields 20.. you can dismantle 5, and with spending just a little bit extra have enough to make 5 (100) more.. then turn around and sell them for 50 or more PER arrow. It's an insanely awesome way to make mad gold.
I think a good solution would be to increase sword and armor weight so you can't loot all of them so easily, and therefore you can't sell as much. Along with that, reduce the selling price of relic swords and increase amount of Materials required for crafting armor and alchemy items.
Furthermore, I think that replenishing potions would be better balanced if you needed one strong alcohol for each stack of potions and not only one alcohol for all stacks as it is now.
Started HoS with 170k, ended it with 90k. One word - Runewright. Realized the new 1.10 economy pretty much nerfed all vendors, so being a rich Geralt might be a thing of the past
That doesn't change the fact, that the economy and prices feel very much off and unrealistic. The best example is the theater ticket for 50 bucks...apart from the fact, that it doesn't make sense in the first place, that you have to buy the ticket, how is it 50 crowns and not 5? It doesn't make sense.
