I remember beating the game and then came dark mode. Aryan handed my ass to me on a platter.

Dark mode is cakewalk in my opinion (except Operator :). If you have learned mechanics and use right tactics (and Quen sign) - you never get hit. But when you get hit, you die quickly. I was somewhat dissapointed with Dark mode. I was hoping for more monster spawns, tougher enemies, but I just got "hard-hitting" enemies with the same AI, but no additional spawnts, etc.
Am I wrong? ...Or I just have forgotten how it was on regular hard? :)
I remember my first playthrough - Prologue was such pain in ass, but then I discovered Quen... ;) Now I wish for prologue to be harder, as it was before rebalancing.

My first few play throughs on hard were very tough. I am actually running through dark mode now with the FCR2 and I find it pretty easy.

I think you're right. I don't remember any additional enemies being spawned on Dark.

Way to easy. Last time I played it was way more fun since I refused to use Quen and Yrden. Boss in chapter 2 is way more fun without using that one spell. I still consider it a glitch.
TW2; Normal = Easy, Hard = Normal.

I hope TW3 has some tough enemies who will kick your ass even on normal diffculty.

I thought perhaps that maybe when you die you respawn at the nearest Inn, introduce that kinda aspect of the game for Dark mode or whatnot.

No problem about that, in no mean i complain that the game is too hard. I like challenging games, I'm just saying most fights are really unforgiving if you make a mistake. And you can't get away easily from group fight like you did in Witcher 1 with group style.
