my witcher 3 experience, please help!

i attached a video so hopefully someone will help.
i have tried uninstalling, reinstalling many times. i have tried installing and playing with no patches attached.
i have turned off and unplugged many times i even rebuilt the hd and reinitialized the ps4 to no success.
i exchanged the disc for another disc thinking it was bad.
every time i get to this it fails and crashes out, or if i hit square button to skip the cut scene it immediately crashes.
tried turning off the tutorials and not simulating witcher 2, tried different difficulties all leading to no success.
all my other games work or still work except this game.
anyone with any ideas please help

ok its set to public view. im hoping there is a patch out real soon. seems like the game is not even installing onto my harddrive. if i delete everything and put the cd in it only takes 1 min to be ready to play, of course you then have to wait about 15 mins for the patch to download and install.

The game doesn't require installing I think, as all game content can be accessed through the disc itself.
Is there any chance you have a camera connected to your PS4, or upgraded your HDD?

yup i already did all of that and sony tech told me that its not a hardware problem but a game. since my other games still work my hardware is working.

Did you try rebuilding the database?

Got into Safe Mode on the PS4 (Hold the power button until you hear a second beep), then pick option 5. Rebuild Database, it won't delete your saved games.

If that doesn't work you could try to install the software from scratch, that would mean downloading the Update from Sony's website (the full ~ 750 MB one, not the 230MB) and picking option 7 on safe mode. That would delete everything though, the Ps4 would be as the day you got it but it fixes a lot of errors most of the time.

yes i have already done both of those options. rebuilt the hd a few times now and did a full reinitialize on it as well.

kinda sucked having to redownload everything. neither of those options helped.

well just tried a 3rd disk from a different store and still crashes after intro scene. never heard back from tech support. all other games like dragon age, bf hardline, and watch dogs work. this is just ridiculous!

any word on another patch soon? still cant get this damn game to play, yet i can play other games for hours on end. the tech support has not emailed me back in a few days and there solutions are not working.

hmm can u try a more graphics hungry game run on ur ps4, hmm like gta v or infamous ss? maybe the ps4 gpu is failing idk, u are the only one that has that problem :/

How much hdd space you have left when you started installing the game? you should let the game install completely before you play.

Also try deleting witcher 3 config files ( not the game itself), they might be corrupted.

i played battlefield hardline the other day. i have 400 gb free because i reinitialized it 3 times now. so the only game that is on there is witcher 3. i deleted everything put the disk in and it downloads the patch i let that install, i wait tell the disc is done spinning because it wont let you even play tell it is. i have even waited a hour later and then started the game only to have it crash same spot everytime, exchanged the disc 3 times even. so i am at a loss.

im actually thinking of going and buying a xbox one and exchanging my witcher 3 for the xbox one version as i heard it is running better.

how long does it take to install? because after i delete everything i put the disc in to install it and within a min i can load it and play it. i watch the disc install under the picture it goes slow for about1/3 ways then jumps to the end and beeps and i can then select the game and start it. is that normal or should it be taking 10 mins to install?

I'd like to point out that I'm also having this exact same problem right now. Did you ever get it running? I've tried everything listed here except reinitialization and the game just freezes for 10-15 minutes at a time at every load screen. It's unplayable and I'm extremely aggravated having spent hours and hours trying to get this thing working.
