as long as I remember, it is stated: "The sword of destiny has two edges. You are one of them. The other one is death." I don´t remember Ciri being the other edge. However I might be wrong,it is quite a long time since I read the books.

That's what is says, but still Ciri is that significant other. :)
Throughout the books it becomes very clear what the significance of Ciri actually is and I'm pretty sure she is the other edge of the Sword of Destiny (can't find suitable quotes from the book though, I don't have time atm).

I just wish they soon release a trailer that finally reveals Ciri, it would no doubt be epic. :victory:

Whoever is on that white horse, they very obviously have a silver witcher's sword. Also, there seems to be a lock of blonde/white hair coming from under the hood. Concerning their physical stature, it's a bit hard to guess. It could be a smaller figure, but we can't be sure. Comparing to Geralt, it seems to be a smaller figure though, which at the very least excludes Vesemir, who is quite the bulky man. I don't recall any other witchers with white hair, so that does indeed narrow it down.

However, if my memory serves correctly, Ciri's horse was pitch black (I could be wrong, been a while since I've read the books), and I don't remember her ever abandoning her horse. Unlike Geralt who'll just jump onto any horse and call it Roach, Ciri is quite fond of her horse - with good reason, as it's an exceptionally fine beast.

And by the way, it obviously is Ciri.
Forget about the ashblonde hair and the female figure for a second, and take a close look at the swords.
That figure has Geralt's silver sword, while Geralt carries his steel sword.

Geralt would never share his swords with a stranger, but only with a person he trusts and cares for.

Point proven. Ciri in 2014. Now lets start the fireworks !

Yes, you are right. But you mean the black mare Kelpie.

Ciri also rode a white unicorn called Ihuarraquax, which could magically disguise itself as a normal horse.
She nicknamed that unicorn Horsey, no wonder with that name...

It would be a big disappointment if Ciri is not in the game and quite a lot of things point to her indirectly. All we need is the final confirmation.
I think CDPR are preparing a grand reveal for her.

I know, right ?

I'm as excited as all of you about a possible Ciri reveal.

But let's not give @gregski a hard time moderating this forum and focus on the topic for now.

*ahem*

Do you think the Wild Hunt chose the ship to look like Naglfar to intimidate Skellige's superstitious villagers ?
Because if they did, this boat was built with the intention to land in Skellige. It might be part of a greater strategy then.

May be it is all the way around. We know that in the world of the witcher some people can have the visions of the future. It is possible that some prophet of old saw this invasion of WH in his vision (it was a far future for him) and told about it. People created a legend about this future event, which at last became present. In this case Naglfar is exactly the ship we see now, but it was seen in a vision and named as such in the past.

If Naglfar approached Skellige this would be a sign that Tedd Deireadh has come (according to Skellige legends) so... yes I also think this could be a greater strategy.
The legends say this ship carries the army of Chaos, in that case the army could the Wild Hunt itself? After all... We saw the burning village in VGX trailer...

Damn, those hype-induced mental buildings... :stuart:
