Narrative clips before loading are ANNOYING!!!

Devs, you added so many options in settings that allow us to tweak game to our preference but didnt add option to turn off those godawful annoying as hell comic clips that play every time you load the game? If we cant turn them off at least let us quickly skip those before I lost sanity

I'm pretty sure that the game is loading behind that clip, so skipping it would probably just make you wait the duration of it.

I'd rather wait and NOT hear them either while the game loads.
I'm doing other things in the meantime...
A pref would be great !

You know you can skip them right? The spacebar skip button appears on the loading narratives, although I don't even bother with it since it's over so quick on my rig anyways.

Funny, those are one of my favorite things. It's a nice little intro to welcome you back.

Yes you can, you press spacebar, but as was pointed out in the second post, they are covering up the loading screen.

So if your game takes 10 seconds to load, you're still going to have to listen to the first 10 seconds of the clip before spacebar will work, but it will become skippable once you've loaded.

I think its not covering. If I load after dying, loading is almost instant on my SSD. If I try to load save at the same place manually, choosing load from list of saves, I have to wait eternity while cut scene finished playing. Let us have an option to disable them completely, Id rather watch static screen

For some reason the game just recognizes the load after death differently. If you manually choose to load a save, the game acts like as if you're coming back in from the main menu and hence plays the clip. If you fast travel, or a load after death (Maybe even a quickload if that exists, haven't tried) it just displays the picture w/Ouroboros screen.

Perhaps someone will make a mod eventually to change it, but it's one of those super non-issue type situations where I doubt the devs will bother. For now you'll just have to mash your spacebar after 5 or so seconds.

I agree, they are annoying. I don't want to see the thing story. Option to disable would be great.

I bought the PS4 version. There doesn't seem to be any way to skip the intro comic sequence that loads every single time you play the game. It gets kind of annoying having to watch the same clip every single time I want to play the game. And it's a long clip, too!

Is there any way to skip this on the PS4?

On PC once the redkit comes out a easy (although not exactly elegant) way around this is to just replace the audio files with mute ones instead. Personally I kinda like them TBH, it recaps what happened in the story so far.

As has been stated, they are masking a loading screen. So since the Consoles tend to take 30-40+ seconds to load the game in (At least if you've installed it on the in-built HDD), that'll be why you always end up having to watching the entire clip.
