Narrator assumes linear progression and spoils the plot

If you play Ciri's plotline but don't stick to the regions in a linear fashion-the narrator ruins the story by telling you what happened in the previous region. For instance, it will spoil what you learn about Ciri in Velen, if you happen to visit Novigrad before finishing her quest(s) in Velen. The same will happen for other quests as well, to greater or lesser degrees. The narrator assumes a linear progression in an open world game. Too bad we can't turn off the narrator and just see a load screen that doesn't show spoilers.....

i see it as an inconvinience , it just became anoying every time i had to reload a saved game i had to wait for the cutscene to replay again and again (considering im playing it on deathmarch it happens a lot). but yes it is a pitty that if you dont follow the main quests the proper way you can get spoiled. the level of the quest shoud actually guide you of what you need to do first but there are very special individuals who want to do everything at the time (miself included) and sometimes it is not possible.

I actually have not had this, in my game He would literally not say anything if I went to a zone and was not up to that point, also if I went to Novigrad it literally would just tell me why I was going there, for example when you go to skellige before going to Novigrad it literally just says what you already know which is
Yennefer, had heard of an explosion, she has gone to find out more basically...
. The narrator updates as you complete the game... Maybe its something to do with the update?
