Need help balancing Gwent decks
Hi all. As the title says I need some help. Atm I play Gwent with my nephew using all four decks ( don't ask me how lol). We use power decks but we raised the minimum to 25 to nerf the decks a bit. However atm whenever I get the monsters deck and he plays N.ReAlms/Nilfgaard I get smashed because he spams me with spies and simply overpowers me with the amount of cards he has. At present my unit card make-up is as follows: Monsters 26 cards- Scoietel/Nilfgaard 27 cards and N.Realms 28 cards. The other problem I have is by reducing the amount of unit cards in my monster deck I'm almost guaranteeing the I'm going to get 2+ of the same muster in the same hand. Most of the time I get 2+ of 2 different muster types. I have decoys in the deck but most of the time I get maybe 1 in the hand and it doesn't stop the spy onslaught. My thinking is the increase the minimum again the 30. That way it will reduce the likelihood of him getting so many spies (probably not by much as N.Realms has 28 already) and also reducing the likelihood of me getting multiple musters in the same hand. Any suggestions?? When playing the Witcher I initially thought the monsters deck too be OP but in real world play the kinda suck. No medics or spies (except Avalla'ch) and totally susceptible to biting frost and scorch.
