Need help boosting my FPS

Here are my specs

I3 Processor
GTX 640
6 GB Of Ram
Windows 7 64 bit

Help would be appreciated thank you.

There are about 5 different cards called GTX 640. One of them, which is based on a GK208 chip, is below spec for the game. Regardless of which one you have, resolution has the most effect on frame rate. Going from 1920x1280 to 1280x720, for example, can double (or better) your frame rate.

Yeah someone told me to lower my monitor quality to get better frame rate and the highest I got was 45-60 FPS

The better 640 cards are below recommended level, and the rev. 2 is below minimum level. 45 to 60 fps at reduced resolution is a good result for these cards.

Get a new graphics card.

Just try medium settings and like 1440 resolution

and if that works flawless then try medium settings and 1900 resolution and
if thats bad then do 1440/ high settings mabye.

I'm going to get my old computer back, which has an I7 processor and a GTX 670. Hopefully that helps.
