New card icon on cards i've already checked after new login

Basically i open a pack, get new cards, check those with the icon to make it disappear. Only to find those cards have the icon back when i log after closing the game. Which means i have to check them again to make the new card icon disappear. VERY annoying

Why would you even want to make the icon disappear. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.
