Without going into spoilers, whats up with this "beefed Chapter 3" and what is special from what we saw from the scene with Geralt, Iorveth, Letho and Triss? Was the "butchered wizards" place not in the vanilla TW2?

All I can do is speculate, but judging from certain entries that were added to the game files (but not the game itself) with 2.0, it seems we will receive some sort of follow-up regarding the interrogation of Aryan/Louisa that occurs during the beginning of the game; as well as the fates of Anais and Boussy (also characters introduced early in the game). Other than that, they have indeed 'beefed up' the visual aspect of the very end of the game, with all those dead people scattered around the place (which you are referring to in your question) - they are not currently there in the game, but will apparently be added with the Enhanced Edition.

Some PC players tend to blame consoles for everything that they dislike, considering consoles inferior in every shape and form.

P.S: No offense but I'm already tired of reading the same complaints coming from the same people for the past 7-8 months. Every time someones has to open a thread about "how horrible and consolized the UI is" or "how badly done is the combat, because of the rolling thing".

And I cannot believe how some are still hoping to see a miracle that the UI will be "PC friendly" and that they'll remove rolling, or change the combat to TW1s style.

P.P.S: Let the dislikes flow now, I don't care.

If this subject is discussed again and again it indicates it's an issue that really moves the poeple. If it's mentioned occasionally some time ago and then never it's probably something minor.
I have do admit this gamepad navigation is sth that I don't enjoy it thwarts my immersion into the game as I had this wonderful experience in TW1.

But you are right. This isn't the right thread to discuss this problem (once again). So all persons concerned should move into this thread

And you are right once again... the entire Witcher community shouldn't fissure into PC vs Console fractions because this game is absolutely fantastic and deserves to be introduced on the console and to many RPGlers as possible.
Okay, I leave it here before I'm getting toooo fanboyish

Simply pressing alt anytime you want to highlight the items would've been a much better design choice.

And again, that's YOUR point of view, opinion. For me it's easier to just press Z and everything is nicely highlighted and I can see it and click it with no problem, then constantly pressing alt.

How is pressing alt such an issue? Your left thumb is useless anyways when walking so by pressing alt and finding your loot seems hardly an issue. Or you could do like me and bind it to e.g. your mouse's side button which means it's even less of a bother.

I was a lot more bothered having to have to wait for the medallion effect to recharge before using it again, constantly pressing Z and nothing happening.

Dude, each with his own set of problems, points of view. I'm not gonna argue with you about "what's better" and "what's worse" again, I had enough. If you want to prove to somebody that you are right, and convince him that your opinion is better, pick someone else.We aren't going anywhere with this, everyone wants to prove that he is right, until someone gives up. K, bye

Well... you saying that you prefer to be ignored when posting a statement into the forum?
Becoz afaik, when you post something , it's your own intention to debate with someone or show you point of view. And I think users have the right to reply, debate, disagree etc.
I think I didn't get you point.

Who said he got fired? If he already works @ Flying Wild Hog I'm guessing he quit voluntarily.

I agree. We're on a discussion forum and people have different opinions. If you can't handle opinions that are opposite to yours what's the point being in here?

I understand that we have different opinions about a game. I perfectly handle different opinions, but I don't see the point in arguing endlessly with someone ,it's frustrating, exhausting and it's a waste of time, since I'm not going to change his/her mind, nor do I want to.

So what do you actually want ? To argue on what's "good" and what's "bad" in freaking game ? What do you hope to achieve from such a debate ? Am I going to change your opinion about a game that you dislike ? Are you hoping to convince me that your opinion is "the right one", when in a subjective thing as gaming we all know there's no such thing.

I'm kind of tired of this pointless, endless debate. Don't you see that we aren't going to achieve anything from it ? It's like we're stuck in an endless loop. Each trying to prove to the other one that he is in fact right.

You keep saying that I cannot handle different opinions. Define this statement ? If I don't agree with you that means I don't "handle opinions" ? Or you're actually convinced that you're going to "prove" to me that you're right, or what ? Cause honestly I don't see your point.

Why did I post here ? To talk about a game, not to argue. We can't discuss without arguing or contradicting or what ?

I know that you dislike the game, because:
- it "screams console port" because of the "horrible" UI that''s "designed for gamepad" because it had lists and it takes too much space, and the mouse lags which is "inexcusable " for a "PC exclusive title"
- the combat is unresponsive, clumsy and slow, and you freaking hate the rolling thing because it looks stupid and it's not "book accurate"
-you hate that it has "too many " cutscenes because breaks the "atmosphere"
- you hate it because is too linear, scripted and short and it's dumbed down in every shape and form.

So you basically hate the game(I know this because you've complained about the same stuff in the majority of your posts), and I like it. So yeah I agree to disagree. But if you like debating and arguing on the same stuff over and over again, be my guest, I won't bother you ever again. I just don't see the point in continuing this discussion.

Sorry for ever posting here.

You quoted people, disagreed with their opinions and you expected nobody wouldn't disagree with your opinions? Have you got any idea how discussion forums work? What they're for?

Hate =/= dislike

I dislike many aspects of the game. That doesn't mean I hate the game. It's just means that in my eyes it's far from perfect. Still a solid, entertaining RPG with great replay value.

Again, you've failed to answer my questions. Instead you've answered only what you wanted(because it's safer and you feel in control) , answering with a question, and avoiding everything else.

You have more complaints regarding this game, then things that you like.I fail to understand people like you who always criticize and complain in a cynical manner about someone or something, but they like that person/thing. Constantly complaining and criticizing about something. You're doing the same with your family and friends, too ?

If I had so many problems with a game like you do, I wouldn't even bother with it, honestly, seems like waste of time.

Again I feel like we're heading nowhere arguing like this. I really don't know what you really want or planning to achieve from this ? For me it's exhausting and I don't see any reason to continue this discussion. I have a life too, you know ?

Yeah no need for it.

It went from a game discussion to a way too personal & philosophical level of discussion. I have no intention of continuing it.

You could actually delete my last 2 posts as well as this if you wish. They serve no purpose on this thread.

I can see your concern about the game, and I exaclty agree to these words.
It's ceratinly tiring trying to "convince" someone that he\she should settle down or that there's no point in keep blaming a game for this or that. So just don't do it :)

You can post your opinion, disagree with someone and it's over. Or you can keep discussing and debating, but I discourage this, if you can't handle the mood. If there's something that really piss off you, just quit that thread for a while. You can still keep preciously your opinion and no one, absolutly no one, is allowed to say that you're wrong or you're moron becoz of that. It's your own opinion and thus it's worthy.

@eskiMoe
I don't share some of your opinions about the game, but I understand your point as I understand many other people's point. As I said above, no need to endlessly discussing with someone else. When you feel the conversation is stuck or is going nowhere (or even sliding into possible flaming), just take a break :)

I think that we all here can agree on the fact that the liking\disliking game (and a media in general), or just certain aspects of it, is mostly a matter of personal opinion. No one can say to another what he\she must feel comfortable with.

Don't know, but maybe it was his choice to leave. He worked there for almost 4 years, maybe he wanted a different challenge, or something. Just like Tom Gop.

Not to be paranoid or anything, but I've heard three different Polish people talk about plans for world domination completely separately from one another. If that's the case, this isn't migration—it's scouting.
