New Extended Vergen & Succubus Gameplay Video!!!

Hey guys,So CDPR has recently given a lecture on the game and the relation or how the witcher 2 is developed and based on the lore (witcher world) or story that Andrzej Sapkowski created or imagined. The lecture took place in Warsaw, thus the presenter (Mr. Tomasz Gop) is speaking in polish. Furthermore, new gameplay which includes an extension of the succubus quest. You get to see Dandelion!!! Yay!!! ;) Anyway, enjoy!!! ;)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afFB0he7rGE&feature=channel_video_title

Thanks for posting this. This was the first time I noticed that animations during the menu screens.Makes them more lively,Hope this soothes some of the peoples who don't like the new menus. Also noticed that time slowed down when he throw the bomb this time, thats new.Seems they also added the facial emotion animations.I got a good laugh from the dialog from Geralt and Dandelion. So far this is looking like the only good game of the first part of the year.Homefront I found disappointing and DragonAge 2 ended when it should have gotten started.

Unfortunately, I do not know of any HQ or HD version of the gameplay video, sorry. :( Polygamia.pl (the people who recorded the video) probably doesn't know that were living in the 21st century and never heard of cheap hd cameras. :(

Besides the fact that UI looks like it's designed for game like Mass Effect and not the game that is set up in fantasy world, I must admit that everything else looks awesome.Dynamic lighting is top notch, especially that now clouds can interfere with how much light hits the ground...

Still no combat stance! Animations are improved! HUD is great, minimalistic and non intrusive.. just like it should be! The rest of the UI is slightly consolised, but it's not bad (like Dragon Age 2 bad), and that backgrounds adds a nice little touch.. I think it'll do its work, but it's not as beautiful as in TW1. This is shaping up to be a best game this year, and a great successor to the first game. Well done, CDP!!

...and gealt's face looks...strange. I hope it is because of the quality, though.

Yea it could've been due to the video quality. Just a reminder, this is still pre-beta footage....;)

Impressive overall. Camera is much better than TW1, smooth and responsive. Nice lighting. The environments look pretty big, even in this side area it looks like we won't be railroaded. Just as in TW1, npc's go about their daily business. The dialog is absolutely great, we all knew that would be the case. :) Very witty. Damn, I wanted to see the succubus... Facial animations look a little stilted, but I believe this is still pre beta. I love the combat animations, even when he's just standing with his sword drawn he looks menacing. Combat itself seems a bit hectic, like it has no rhyme or reason. Need to get my grubby little paws on it.I have yet to see them use hotkeys in combat, or show us a grid inventory. And to be honest, I'm not sure about Dandelions voice. May take some getting used to. Anyway, the game seems very immersive and I can hardly wait.

looks really nice. cant see a difference between this build and the latesr videos we've seen of the same mission but still looks nice.only thing i dont like is that all it takes to counter (open up the defense of the shield wielding guy) is hold block until he attacks. no skill needed. no timing required. MM360 said it WILL require timing but looking at this vid it doesnt look like it. maybe it's an ability of geralt (to always counter if u level him up) but i cant be sure. if it IS a skill than i will refrain from acquiring it and be fine. if not than that's a bit of a shame but that's not a BIG deal.

Awesome video, thank you very much. But I thought there would be not nay kind of loading screens, not that I saw one but when going in and out of the inn there is some 'black' screen moment that looks like a disguised loading :/Not very important, what is really important is the EXCESIVE background blur that there is in the the bard saviour of queens video @_@ I hope it is an option or adjustable, it hurts the eyes!!!

I believe it is only cause they have bad quality on the video and/or camera and desides to skip it. We've seen videos where it is no such thing entering and leaving inns. The only thing that will be there when such things occur is that little symbol spinning in the right bottom corner, since it's transfering data. You do know that the Saviours of Queens was the april joke right?

WHAT? ....Joking!Whatever it is it is done with the witcher's 2 engine, a part of the fun the most important thing in that video is the engine and look of the world and I saw too much blur, but TOO much.

If you're talking about it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afFB0he7rGE&feature=channel_video_titleIf you're talking about those situations in which the entire video image is blurred. (Game - cut-scene, the Game - mini-games, etc.) It is the fault of the camera. Autofocus reacts nervously while dimming the screen.Sorry for my English - Google Translator
