Radiant Quests; the long-considered-mythical Relic skill tree makes its appearance; real vehicle combat; functional police, et cetera. If there are "endless" radiant quests, then I'm assuming that the death-by-Johnny-chip has also been solved.
If you watch the video at 1:01 V shoots a guy with a shotgun and the dude falls over with the exact same stiff ragdoll we've had for years. I always thought it was due to last gen limitations but now I don't know what it is cause this is current gen only. There's a mod that fixes the ragdolls stiffness too and it's been out for 2 + years. Man, I hope I'm wrong hear. I would expect improved ragdoll physics with the system requirements they're now demanding on PC. Oh well, we'll see I guess.
Sure, but they're also adding new kill animations for certain weaponry as you can see in the video and previous announcements, and there will definitely be improved effects. By the variation of each kill in that one video shows that there are more kill animations than the single stiff ragdoll shown in that one frame. I mean, V is literally sawing into a militant's neck with a cut-o-matic at 1:13.

I am incredibly excited for the 2.0 update and the Phantom Liberty expansion. We're spoiled with how much this trailer shows off, and by the looks of it, there is so much more new content than I was anticipating. My hype is immeasurable. Never thought I'd ever consider taking a day off for an expansion and major update on a game that I've already put over 350 hours on. I've loved every minute, and I can't wait to experience the fully realized version of Cyberpunk 2077. Thank you CDPR team- you are all amazing. I'm truly glad that there has been so much passion and effort put into Cyberpunk 2077 since the beginning despite the challenges that you all faced, and it shows in the quality of the experience we as fans and gamers get to enjoy. Seriously, Sep. 26 can't come soon enough. Much love, Chooms.
"NEW FEATURES ARE COMING TO CYBERPUNK 2077 ALONG WITH PHANTOM LIBERTY!"
Wow, that looks freaking awesome, REDS!
Love the new vehicles already. Especially that new Larimore version and that truck/Jeep like MakiGai. Can't wait to drive those. Noticed that you equipped the Coyote with a state of the art suspension. Much appreciated for that. Please don't forget the Javelina, has no suspension either.
Wish you added a new motorcycle or two in the process. The game has a dirt bike, naked bike and a super sport bike, but misses a scooter and a large touring bike like Honda's Gold Wing.
But I'm nitpicking. Great work on the expansion! Great presentation too! Am very eager to play! Cheers!
Really very nice video. It clearly will be lots of fun. Actually I’m most curious how well it will run on my current half build of new pc, bcs I have no doubts that there for me awaits hundreds of hours spent in NC. I’m very much looking forward for PL release.
thats for the DLC but the 2.0 update is gonna drop before the expansion not early than 90 days thats what they said when the expansion was anounced the first time
Really looking forward to getting back into this game. Only got about 20 hours into it till I had massivr game breaking issues not long after launch. Went ahead and waited for this DLC/patch before jumping back in. Looks and sounds great.
Just wished there was Gyro Aim for PS5 though. Would make combat way more fluid and precise.

If you haven't played since launch/2020.... then you'll be very happy with how far the game has come. It's honestly a much better experience now, and if 2.0 launches without any major issues (which I fully expect it will, with maybe 1 or 2 hotfixes early on) I think you'll be really happy. It's been a long road but CP has really started to feel like we're getting what we expected way back when the hype started.
The live stream tomorrow should have some really cool stuff to dive into.
At the moment, we only know of the Relic tree (which is connected to the story of PL) and the airdrops (they only happen in Dogtown) that are exclusive to PL.
These are not "Core features".
Edit: courier quests are also going to be exclusive to PL since the quest triggering them, is in Dogtown. Still this isn't a core feature.
Hii. Does someone now the name of the song that plays in the second half of the video, after the new abilities, and until the very end? It sounded really cool and interesting. Thanks!
Yup, it sounds awesome - the vocals especially are giving me Ghost in the Shell vibes
Personally, I reckon it's part of the PL score, but I suppose it could be a radio tune...
I’m not that impressed with this trailer, but maybe it’s their method of not setting unrealistic expectations.
It all seems like a step towards the end result rather than the end result itself.
The improvements mentioned in the video are pretty vague and certainly have a flair of “suspect to change” or “not representing final state”.
Personally I’m pretty fed up with the new gaming industry trend of telling “stuff will be better, but you won’t find out what we mean by better until you buy our product”
That being said I’m not very negative towards PL, however I’m very skeptical. Will definitely watch streams on release to decide whether or not I’m interested.

Hmmm... Cool stuff on the Police system overal. They're sticking with the omniscent quantum CCTV crime report system for some reason. Commit a crime; NCPD knows right away somehow. Thank god I'm on PC. That'll get fixed swiftly.
