NEW FEATURES ARE COMING TO CYBERPUNK 2077 ALONG WITH PHANTOM LIBERTY!

.... What did you expect out of a 3 minutes teaser?

They're meant to tease you, not provide a deep dive into the end product. There is a whole stream dedicated to that happening right now...
I was expecting to be teased. Didn’t happen.
Matter of personal preference I guess :)

It's just me because I never interacted to much with him or it's because the footage was recorded on high-end PC (with path tracing), but for me, Muamar Reyes seem to look way better than in the current game?
Beside, I loved they mentionned Mama Welles :D

Whether something teases you or not is absolutely subjective... but that's not what your previous post was about at all.

Anyway, not worth arguing over.

I can't say I interacted with him a lot myself. I barely did in fact.

But I think he's pretty much the same?

They removed the fanny pack but otherwise the same? I think?

The facial animation definitely looked better.

My only gripe with the whole thing is that I didn't see anything that immediately made me go "THIS IS WHY THE NEW REQUIREMENTS ARE A THING".

Admittedly, I watched the stream after the fact and skimmed through it for very specific bits. The new system requirements are not of concern to me so maybe I missed their explanation if there was one. There is definitely some stuff that justifies an increase but nothing I saw made me think that much of an increase was explained.

If they didn't explain it, it will be a hard sell for a lot of people.

Doesn't matter if Starfield releases. Anyone who gets a Bethesda game upon release is just begging to be a beta-tester. It's been this way for a decade or so. Wait 6 months until modders fix all the issues, then get Starfield.

LMAO because CP2077 was released clean and done and we're not wait another major update until this 2.0 XD

same here

Yep he look the same, but he seem to look "better", more detailed/refined.
(but it could be simply because high-end PC and path tracing).
Especially during the dialogue in the car, the skin texture is really great.

Seems I skipped over that part.

It definitely looks better and part of that definitely feels like it's due to PT but as @AikoHayashi pointed out that complexion sure looks better.

Although the texture looks blurry but I will blame it on the video at this point in time.

Interesting that smart weapons moved to Intelligence and snipers moves to cool

Will have to see how this effects me since I netrun and smart weapons can be nice

I am interested in the tech skill because from the peak of gamescon I didn't see any crafting perks

Much better shading and texturing, and it certainly looks like they redid the facial rigs for these characters. Johnny, at least in this teaser, has a more distinct look. May be what seems like mascara or just the lighting, but he has a naturally more aggressive look - not just emotional but his face has a more dangerous shape.

Everyone except Johnny has a problem though; hair isn't casting shadows. They may be using new haircards and haven't gotten around making sure it registers in the buffer for the API though.

thats for the DLC but the 2.0 update is gonna drop before the expansion not early than 90 days thats what they said when the expansion was anounced the first time
Is this confirmed in any way?

I'd be very happy about it. I will do a fresh play through for PL, so I'd be glad to have a headstart in some of the new mechanics and level up for dogtown. So a release of 2.0 before PL would make a lot of sense to me, personally.

But I've never heard anything official word about when 2.0 may be released.

There is no confirmed date as of yet. But the 2.0 update has been mentioned twice as coming before PL.

The first time is in the official post for the new system requirements which states it will be coming "No sooner than 90 days" which would put it from the time of that post, approximately 10 days before PL. The next time it was mentioned was during yesterday's live stream, they did not give a date but did say it would come before PL.

My guess based on their language is somewhere between 10 and 7 days before PL releases so they have time to hotfix if needed.

This is a pure guess so no one should take it too seriously. But there is going to be another stream detailing combat and other changes in 2.0 sometime before PL comes out.... and I'm thinking like in the past they'll do a same day patch. SO if this stream is lets say 9 days before PL comes out, that's when I think the patch comes out.

Of course the next stream doesn't have a date yet, at least I don't think it does. So if it's much earlier than that, my guess is completely wrong. But the closer the stream is to PL the more likely it is that the patch comes that same day.

Or at least it seems like they might do that based on past patch releases.

*18 days before release, I think

90 days from 11th June is 9th September. So anywhere between 9th - 26th September I guess?

Well, it's disappointing they couldn't retain the original Voice Talent of Mr. Hands from the release version.
Hmmm.. may be. Given some of the odd voice line recordings through out the game, including male V lines that play when you're female V, the old voice of Mr. Hands may still be there until you get to DogTown.

The improvements mentioned in the video are pretty vague and certainly have a flair of “suspect to change” or “not representing final state”.

Well, what CP2077 original launch taught me, was that what you see is exactly what you get. Nothing more. In other words, CDPR went wherever the fence was lowest.

As an example: The trailer shows V's car doing a spin while shooting with mounted machineguns. The trailer advertises mounted vehicle combat. I wouldn't be surprised if those machineguns mounted on a car is the full extent of "vehicle mounted combat". One item. Now we don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised. You would expect something else, but that one item is enough to fulfill the promise.

In the live stream they said that the new vehicle gigs will unlock other upgrades/cars/etc... I think they used missiles as an example, which were also shown in the trailer.
