Yep.

Just be sure not to overwrite them.
I keep copies of various savegames at different stages of decision.
Got a folder for Yen, Triss, both...

I always (at least) keep a save from just before starting the endfight.
And i add a textfile describing what stages of decision the different files stand for.

I dont know if anyone else noticed this but it seems that NPCs like Vesemir didn't seem to scale in terms of damaged that they do.

I noticed at the begining that he (Vesemir) was having quite a hard time in killing the ghouls, hope it was just me derping because if they didn't scale the NPCs some side/main quest could get really hard

So.... Assuming that level 10 is 90% stronger than level 1, and level 40 is only about 30% stronger than level 31, shouldn't all of your opponents/enemies scale difficulty wise on that curve. Essentially meaning that every time you level up and meet a higher level enemy, the percentage between you closes making the enemies progressively more difficult and evenly matched? For instance, a level 60 Geralt is only approximately 12% stronger than a level 51 opponent.... Level 70 Geralt less than 10% stronger than a level 61 enemy etc... etc..

If this isn't the case, I think it obviously should be, and if it isn't, it seems a huge flub by CDPR design wise. Seems like any other algorithm would be more complex, so why the hell wouldn't this be the way to do it?

That appears to be the case, not sure yet if the bonus (-40% AP and health) against low level (6 levels lower) still applies to NG+ monsters.

Guys, let's say I finished my first play through using the Broken Bones difficulty, do I get the chance to change difficulty to Death March at the beginning of New Game + ?

So, about Scavanger Hunts (witcher gear), i just need to get all diagrams again? And how the Legendary crafting works, they have new map locations for these diagrams?

Yes. NG+ is the last option you choose when starting a new game, after difficulty and TW2 save import/simulation.

Started NG+ on Death March last night, and I've completed White Orchard. While I like the fact that three level 32 Ghouls are able to kill my level 39 Geralt with ease, I have one serious question. Staying on topic, since we're seeing most items (witcher gear, weapons, armor etc) getting level adjusted to higher NG+ levels, do we need to rebuy bomb diagrams in NG+ for new level adjusted bombs? Cause like how a maxed out Quen is pretty useless against some low level enemies, a superior grapeshot for example doesn't seem to obliterate enemies (even low level ones) like it did pre-NG+. Don't think the devs really clarified how effective signs/potions/bombs will be in NG+. Or is that the whole idea of NG+, nerfing everything...

I was thinking that too... how can we increase signs power to counter higher level enemies?
And also the bombs doesn't scale, i can't try it right now but i was having the same thoughts.

Yup, I htought that too. You obviously need a lot more sign power for it to be effective. Personally, I like that fact. This allows for more difficult overpowered builds.

Bombs not scaling is annoying, though I mainly use bombs for their side effects (fire, stun, freeze, ...) anyway though. And only rarely.

Yes.. but at level 50 for example, i think Quen will break like a bubble if there isn't a way to increse its effectiveness.

I think i will switch to an alchemy/combat build if the signs are no more useful. Maybe there are new schemes for bombs?

There's the Griffin skill and Griffin&Wolf set's wich increase sign intensity. Along with runestones and glyphs. The third tier of sign skills are all about intensity. Makes sense that NG+ requires that tier slotted to be efective enough.

I already have a sign build with that slotted and Griffin armor. But how can you go futher when level will increase? There are no more tiers. How can you scale up with level 60 enemies if there are no more upgrade possible for signs?

It's only a thought i can't try for myself at the moment because i'm not at home.

Haven't tried that tier myself and don't know how much the highest level of them increases intensity. Along with all those mentioned the intensity should go far past 200%, no? What is enough is a different story.
At the start going with Petri's Philter along with alchemy skills that increase the potion duration time would help.

Here's what you do:

You get 6 greater igni runestones and you add them to the mastercrafted feline armor. That alone will make igni badass. Then you learn the whole igni branch. You make sure you store everything in a the storage-chest so you're as light as possible. Use arachas decotion (Reduces damage received based on armor and inventory weight: less weight carried and lighter armor means less damage is taken.)
To boost it even more learn the "cat school techniques".
Im pretty much superman using this setup. Started NG+ late last night.

Besides having Igni all the way I also have Quen fully upgraded (but not the alternate mode). I also made sure I have 247 max toxicity so I can use 3 dections at the same time. Pretty bad-ass setup and totally different from what I usually have.

Um NG+ is not a patch its a DLC so you gonna have to find it yourself. And to start a new game plus you gotta complete the game. Start a new game and while setting up the new game you will have the option to play NG+

Hmm. Well either you put on easier difficulty by accident or your game is fucked.
When I got the platina it popped up as soon as the credits were done after death march.
At least you get to play NG+. I know some people who cant get it work. They start NG+ and as soon as they can control Geralt he dies. So they're stuck.

NG+: any new gear/boss/quest?

Hi, I was currently wondering whether to start a NG+, but I cannot find any confirmation about the presence of new visually different equipment, or new challenges not available in a normal game. I wouldn't play it only to see higher numbers in gear and monster's stats. Cursed items in W2 were challenging to craft for instance, and a good reason to play all over again. Not to mention the lack of any super boss (wished we could fight the White Frost together with Ciri at the end of NG+..! )
