Some really cool statements there! However, in the end I felt like I am not a 'cyberpunk' generation :( which I am probably not :p

I can do a Polish accent! Actually, you know who can -really- do a Polish accent? Spider. So read everything he types in a Polish accent from now on, please.

Also I have talent! Somewhere. Perhaps in my other pants.

Heh.

In my other pants.

Heh.

We certainly want to employ the situation where your combat capabilities ais that much dependent on the stats. It's about your own skill.

Given the "...is that much dependent on the stats", I'm really not that sure whether your meant the player's own skill or the player CHARACTER's own skill. Either way, I definitely think he's saying that it isn't dependent on the size of your weapon.

And no, I don't know who the last guy was, except that he described himself as a game designer.

I took that to mean that player skill will play a big part in combat and it won't be all about stats.

I fucked up- Antoni said, "avoid the situation", not, "employ the situation". CORRECTED.

So that means they are avoiding stat-dependent combat.

Some of it was contradictory or vague. I felt like Rafal. for example, ( He Whose Skin I Shall Wear One Day Like Pajamas), was trying to express some complex ideas and balances they were chasing while being stymied by the language. Talking about central plot ideas and social background he starts one way and then seems to come back a bit.

IF ONLY HE READ THIS and then corrected us in Polish and a Polish speaker, (SPIDER!), translated, I bet we'd have a clearer idea of what he was trying to say.

It didn't seem to be a prepared speech, it looked like they were handing out answers based on current thinking. That bit about being tempted by big ideas I sympathized with. Because, you know, I find myself constantly struggling to stay non-epic.

For some of you that don't know CDPR has recently openned their second studio in Cracov and here are some interesting graphics/posters from the inside, all taken from some polish YT game reviewer's relation, apparently there was some event they were invited to...

The page showing the system requirements and release date is clearly bullshit and should be ignored. I don't know why sites pull that sort of crap, but I can guarantee that this is NOT the way that CDPR release such information, nor is there any way that it can be accurate.

The system spec requirements appear to be pulled from TW2, and are definitely lower than the TW3 specs. Which also haven't been stated yet, but there is confirmation that it'll need DX11 and therefore won't be available on XP. So whoever decided to publish this has absolutely zero real information and is just looking for page hits.

I wish I hadn't given them one.

(And who's the idiot in the comments section who says this will be their next release? And why hasn't anyone called him out on it?

And did anyone notice the dates on that thread?)

[Smug Mode Activate] Yes, it was obvious. That's why I didn't. In the future, if you aren't sure, just ask me what to do. It's no problem.

Moderator task, alas. One of us needs to check just so we can say what absolute garbage it is and calm down the panicking forumites. At least it didn't involve pitchforks this time.

Hmm.

This is why I make a poor mod on sane forums. Watching people as they panic rather than spend two whole minutes thinking coherently is still pleasing to me.

I am such a child.

I need to go to bed. I have Chris' game tomorrow and my beloved made chocolate mousse in filo cups topped with raspberry sorbet. And then I ate them at 2 a.m.

Heartrate BLAZING.

I get the impression that Cyberpunk 2077 will be treated as a flagship product, just like The Witcher series. They have other projects on the go, yet the combined image is CP+TW. Of they were not equally important I would have expected separate images.

For anyone that doesn't know how to paste images easily into your post without the thumbnail click annoyance, copy the image address, then type, without the quotes,
"
".

Also that guy on the left has an amazing beardsmile. I want him.

That works for online images, but not images uploaded from a harddrive if memory serves.

precisely... + these are not web images. Most likely it was me who put them on the net first coz these are screenshots from the YT video as you could perhaps deduce from what I aforementioned.

I was confused about the last guy as well, whether he was on the '77 team or another dev creating a different Cyberpunk game. One thing to note is originally Sebastian Stepian was listed as lead writer, so I'm not sure if that's changed and Rafal is now.
