New Patch 10gb Steam - its 1.51?

Ah that's good to hear, fingers crossed my 2060 super benefits from a performance boost too. Did you turn off localised shadows to improve performance or it was just better in general?

Turning of local shadows seems to give me roughly the same performance level as prior to 1.5 (2080S)

Did a few comparison runs with the ingame benchmark tool.

Avg. FPS71,066,072,066,768,965,1
Min FPS--51,452,350,548,7
Max FPS--91,787,985,985,6

My specs: i7 10700kf @8x4690MHz, RTX 3080 @1920MHz, 32GB DDR 4 3200

My settings:
3440x1440,
DLSS Balanced,
DLSS Sharpening 0.40,
Film Grain, Chromatic Abberation, DoF, Lens Flares and Motion Blur disabled,
everything else maxed

Surprisingly the average framerate with RT Localized Shadows only is better than RT Sun Shadows only.
Overall frametimes look very consistent, i.e. no visible stuttering.

Comparable settings to yesterday's version seem to result in extremely similar performance.
Unfortunately I don't have data for min and max fps from yesterday's build anymore.

Benchmark results images from today's test (RT Shadow settings are in the file names):

I'm finding these numbers a little confusing - turning off local shadows seems to have no impact?

I cant trust these benchmarks results myself.
I have a 2060 super and Ryzen 5 3600xt, and RT low (new preset), RT medium, and RT ultra all give me average 45 fps @ 1080p in the benchmark lol. Considering just using the ultra preset and forgoing RT, as that gives me an average of 80. Not sure ray tracing is worth literally halving my frame rate.

Edit:
Duplicated post, but I've noticed my performance massively increases if I run the benchmark a few times. Very strange behaviour

Its the update to fix PS4 version problems with the game disk. There is an announcement in the announcement section.

Why would this fix effect Steam or Gog in anyway?

Matter of tastes I suppose. On consoles, it's exactly what it does. 60FPS whitout and 30FPS with :)

I does not. But PCs version have maybe receive some other fix ("audio software problems" is my first guess). On xbox, no fix, no update... ouff :)

Hääääääähhhhhh
what happen here.... today is a new 1.5 out ?????
I am a GOG user, happy with the offline feature/install.
Have downloaded the full game 1.5 at 16 Feb. and today is a new version of the files online..... is this RIGHT ???
Because the version is still 1.5 do not believe this has changed o_Oo_Oo_O

No one knows, I already downloaded the "update", in the GOG Galaxy it is called 1.5 (Hotfix Kosher). I guess we need to wait and see what CDPR will say. But there are some small changes in the game so i guess it is not a bug, maybe data restructuring ?

Can someone confirm any performance increase after this update ?

I have to download 66GB on GOG - just want to be sure I will not waste +3hrs just to get 2 more fps.

Small Update on this.
I was able to recover my yesterday's benchmark results as the game apparently saves the results in \Documents\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\benchmarkResults

Also added some percentages for comparison. I still believe that especially min fps values are useless, because they always appear during the loading phase.
