new patch now i cant start the game again (Help)

played the game when it suddenly crashed and then said theres a download ready. I did the 1,7GB download and tried to start the game but it always crashes on launch. Tried restarting steam/restarting pc but it still doesnt work. Any1 got an idea?

Verify integrity of files just like with the last patch.

Verify files once you download initial patch - it will start downloading remaining part of the update

hmm at GOG I'm currently loading a 9GB patch

Update: repaired files via steam and had to re-download 29,9GB now it works just fine and everything is in order again
